 Mexico Joins Suit Against Arizona's Immigration Law, Citing 'Grave Concerns'

Mexico on Tuesday asked a federal court in Arizona to declare the state's new immigration law unconstitutional, arguing that the country's own interests and its citizens' rights are at stake.

Lawyers for Mexico on Tuesday submitted a legal brief in support of one of five lawsuits challenging the law.  The law will take effect July 29 unless implementation is blocked by a court.

  1. The thing is, Mexico's own immigration law is quite similar to Arizona's. Yet they have the audacity to create a lawsuit against Arizona? Each country has it's own laws about such things. Very few have open door policies. Are they going to sue all of them too?
    Get real, Mexico and take care of your own country. I think they probably want the money their citizens drag in from the US and a good avenue to get rid of many of their criminals.

  2. All that you say is true. Mexico wants to export its problems to America and import American dollars to their country. It's a win-win for them.
