The Express Lane To Natural Born Clarity

By Leo Donofrio, Esq
NaturalBornCitizen
June 30, 2011

The US Supreme Court definition of an Article 2 Section 1 natural-born citizen as stated in Minor v Happersett is strictly limited to those persons born in the United States to parents who were citizens.  Below, I will make this crystal clear with stealth to reduce the complexities of the issue into a refined exposition and mantra the average citizen will easily comprehend.

NATURAL BORN CLARITY

The Supreme Court in Minor specifically avoided construing the 14th Amendment as to the issue of whether Virginia Minor was a US citizen.  Instead, the Court looked no further than the natural-born citizen clause in Article 2 Section 1.  The Court held that Minor was a member of the "class" of persons who were natural-born citizens.  They defined this class as those born in the US to "parents" (plural) who were citizens.  (For more detailed analysis of this issue, see my two previous reports, here and here.)

The Court also noted that the "citizenship" of those born to non-citizen parents was subject to doubt.

Dick Durbin (D-IL) Tells Illegal Immigrants "When I look around this room, I see America's future . . . and maybe our President"

Add duh! to Dick Durbin's name. And this man was elected to serve as a defender of the U.S. Constitution! Like so many democrats, Durbin has muddied the waters about Article 2, Section 1, which states "No Person except a natural born Citizen or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President."

No wonder our country is in trouble!

Capra Crucifixions

Submitted by: @TwoLegsGood

CAPRA CRUCIFIXIONS; THE SPIRITUAL I.Q. OF THE FOUNDING FATHERS & A PALIN-LESS DEBATE

Several years back, I wrote an action script with a U.S. President as protagonist that made it to the top of the food chain in Hollywood. I’d
been compelled to write it by the narrative structures director Frank
Capra (MR. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON) championed in his
best films, stories of uniquely American crucifixions. Whenever I took
a meeting off the script, I’d thank God for Capra because I wrote it
as if he would direct, albeit in the Calvary of the modern war theater.
(Capra actually directed a couple of action films in the late silent era,
though no one but me cares.)

I first knew I succeeded in telling the hard-action Capra story I’d set
out to tell when a consulting SEAL Team Sixer and the very liberal
film producer who optioned it -- cried when they read its 3rd act
denouement.

And the story I set out to tell was about a President who was willing to
lay down his life for his country.

Which brings to mind the line-up of would-be Presidents at the New
Hampshire GOP debate two weeks ago.

A debate that, for me, was all about what I didn’t see.

THE CAUSE OR THE CURE?

What I didn’t see was anyone respecting the concerned sacrifices
of ordinary (and Capra-esque) Tea Party Americans that cemented
their November 2010 wins. Rather, they seemed to be “re-debating”
two-year-old Tea Party arguments as if the election never happened.
Perhaps it’s the folly of allowing CNN to moderate, but underscored
was the fact each pol on stage was part of the political culture in
one way or another when Tea Party began in 2009. Bachmann

was ensconced in RINO-gaming ineffectiveness before she
began “listening” with her Tea Party Caucus (ask the Missouri Tea
Party about Bachmann and Roy Blunt). And anyone who doesn’t
think the Federal Reserve needs to be investigated -- or used to work
for the Fed (Cain) is not Tea Party. Sorry. The cause cannot affect
the cure.

THE FOUNDING FATHERS’ SPIRITUAL I.Q.

I also didn’t see anyone at that debate with the spiritual I.Q. of our
Founders, those willing to sacrifice hearth and home, fame and
fortune, their sacred honor and their very lives -- for the American
freedom that reflects the gift of free will given by our Creator.

Ron Paul came close to this sacrificial spirit when he preached
his economic Jeremiads in ’07-‘08. He was a lone voice in the
wilderness -- and evidently paying the price for his honesty at the
time. But today he’s a spent shell because something other than the
founding documents of this nation animate his politics, i.e. conspiracy
theories. (How do you lay down your life for a conspiracy? You don’t.
You just get more paranoid.)

THE NIGHT OBAMA TRUMPED TRUMP

I also didn’t see Donald Trump at the debate. And the reason he
wasn’t there had nothing to do with the birth certificate tragicomedy.

CUT TO: the close up of Trump’s pale expression as Obama knifed
him from the podium at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

In that painful, on-camera moment, Trump realized just how much it
would cost him to run against Obama: Everything. He would have to
take the Founder’s pledge and stake his fame, fortune -- his TV show
– all his social and business relationships in order to win the White
House. And the cost was too high.

“IT IS TO THE GLORY OF GOD TO CONCEAL A MATTER,
BUT TO THE GLORY OF KINGS TO REVEAL IT.” Proverbs 25:2

What Trump didn’t understand was his burst of political popularity
wasn’t tagged to the birth certificate issue, per se. Trump’s surge
was due to the fact he seemed to be staking his lifeblood to resolve
a matter that vexed the nation. The glory of kings -- or Presidents -
- would have been Trump’s had he held course and used all means
and resources necessary to firmly settle the matter one way or
another. (And “firmly” means WND is nearly-almost satisfied.)

It wouldn’t have mattered if Trump was proved right or wrong,
voters were reacting to the idea of his sacrifice -- of putting self-
interest aside in order to serve the interests of the people. (This is a
supreme political commodity, perhaps the only political commodity.)
Instinctually, Americans look for leaders with this type of spiritual I.Q.

THE GRAVITAS OF PATRIOTS

Because this nation can only be saved -- and a foundational
restoration of the nation can only be won -- by a people with the same
sacrificial fight in their hearts as our Founders. It is the only way
America can be America again. And only someone willing to sacrifice
for our founding ideals will have the spiritual and moral authority -- the
gravitas of patriots -- to be President.

So, for me, the last GOP debate was about all these things I didn’t
see. But the most important thing I didn’t see was someone who
reminds me of the fictitious character in my action script, a true Capra
hero, someone who’s lived through their own uniquely American
crucifixion.

The most important thing I didn’t see at the debate was this same
someone who embodies Tea Party, someone who, in fact, boldly
confronted Obama with Tea Party logic months before Tea Party ever
existed.

The most important thing I didn’t see at the debate was someone
who’s carried a “cross” of discrediting, belittling and mocking in the
MSM for years, culminating in false accusations of murder on an
international scale.

The most important thing I didn’t see at the debate was this
someone who has the spiritual I.Q. of our Founders, someone who
understands the restoration of this country can only be won by people
with that same spirit of sacrifice in their hearts.

The most important thing I didn’t see at the debate is someone, who,
if she declares she’s running for President after all she’s endured, by
that declaration she will veritably take our Founding Fathers’ pledge
-- of her life, her fortune, and her sacred honor for the sake of her
country.

Because -- America can only be America again if we have a
President with the spirit of our Founders’ sacrifice in their heart.

This is why the most important thing I didn’t see at that last GOP
debate was -- Sarah Palin.

God & Country BANNED in Public Schools

God & Country BANNED in Public Schools
Lloyd Marcus
By Lloyd Marcus, Proud Unhyphenated American

Remember the hit song by Marvin Gaye, “What's Going On”? Patriots, what the heck is going on with U.S. public schools and our kids? There is a deliberate effort to diminish our children's respect for God, country, freedom, liberty and our culture. The schools are BANNING, in essence, Christianity, patriotism and individualism.

Just a few examples:

U.S. Open, NBC cuts 'Under God' from Pledge of Allegiance
American Flag Art Banned in classroom
Bible Banned From School
Teens Banned From High School Graduation for Wearing Military Sash
High school Valedictorian, Banned from saying "How God changed my life" in his speech

Meanwhile, celebrating Gay and Lesbian Pride Day is considered an important part of the public school curriculum.  (This video will blow you away!)

While I can not confirm how wide spread, I do know many public schools are filling our kids' minds with a belief system opposite of their parents. The public schools' “Operation Dumb Them Down” is step one in preparing our children to drink their socialist/globalist kool-aid.

Karen Schoen, a former teacher wrote...

In the 60-70's The Anti-War, Anti America, anti-family, anti-religion youth were prompted into the teaching profession as a way to beat the draft. Teaching was a draft exempt profession.
We (myself included) learned the works of Marx and Dewey and how to get this message to our students.
We were taught to lie, use psychology, break down the family, separate children, promote the environment, and treat boredom with drugs.
We were taught to use subliminal messaging to instill ideas not factual information, this is called indoctrination.
We were also taught divide and conquer techniques and to discuss class warfare pitting one group against the other. (Obama is a master at this technique. He demon-izes achievers.)

I taught the worst classes in Brooklyn with over 35 kids in a class and my students sat on the stage to get honors at graduation.
It is the curriculum, that is the only problem. I fought my principal about the failing of this new curriculum until I had to leave.
Reading, math, writing, critical thinking, logic, reason and factual information has been stripped out of our schools.
Factual information regarding American history, civics, economics, nationalism, family values, religion are no longer found in schools.
Cognitive thinking through consensus is now the norm.

The goal is dumb students=dumb citizens = dumb legislators who will pass horrific bills without reading them.

As you know the poor and minorities will be the biggest losers as generation upon generation will be nothing more than indentured servants working for crumbs doled out to them by the government through continued generations of people on entitlements.  People are taught to be entitled and accept their minimal slot in life.
(Witnessing the devastated lives and early deaths of several of my relatives, I can testify about the tragic consequences of government replacing daddy in the black family.)

It is no surprise there is no outrage on the debt, these schools are teaching that the more debt you have the more prominent you are...”

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3aehmCcE4oM&feature=related
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DDyDtYy2I0M

Parroting Marvin Gaye, I ask, “What's going on”? Answer: the public school agenda is to steal generations of our children turning them into useful idiots. They promote socialist programs, social justice, world citizenship and destroying any concept of American as a sovereign nation. In a nutshell, they're going after our kids, folks! They must be stopped.

Again, I thank God for TEA For Education, a non-profit. Here are excerpts from their Mission Statement.

The mission of Tea for Education is to fundamentally change public education in
America.
The ultimate goal of Tea for Education is to re-direct the focus of the public
education system in America away from the leadership of the teachers unions and
government bureaucracy and toward a free market in education that is structured to
benefit the children first.

Yes, That's what I am talking about! Patriots, we must rally around these good guys and support them. If you feel lead, get involved.

What is going on in our schools is un-American and evil.

U.S. Soccer Team Booed In U.S. By Mexicans

By Daily Mail Reporter
June 26, 2011

If the U.S. soccer team were hoping for the home advantage during Saturday's Gold Cup final then they were in for a nasty surprise.
Despite being the 'home' side in California's Rose Bowl stadium, the majority of fans - most of them American born of naturalized Mexicans - booed and jeered the U.S. team.
The surprising scenes were followed by angry outbursts from U.S. team goalkeeper Tim Howard, who was visibly shaken after the entire post match ceremony was conducted in Spanish.

Obama as Chauncey Gardiner: 'Stuffed with rice pudding between the ears'

By Michael Barone
The Washington Examiner
June 25, 2011

Which past leader does Barack Obama most closely resemble? His admirers, not all of them liberals, used to compare him with Abraham Lincoln and Franklin Roosevelt.
Well, Obama announced his candidacy in Lincoln's hometown two days before Abe's birthday, and he did expand the size and scope of government. But no one seriously compares him with Lincoln or FDR any more.

Conservative critics have taken to comparing him, as you might imagine, with Jimmy Carter. The more cruel among them, like the Weekly Standard's Jay Cost, say the comparison is not to Obama's advantage.
But there is another comparison I think more appropriate for a president who, according to one of his foreign-policy staffers, prefers to "lead from behind." The man I have in mind is Chauncey Gardiner, the character played by Peter Sellers in the 1979 movie "Being There."

As you may remember, Gardiner is a clueless gardener who is mistaken for a Washington eminence and becomes a presidential adviser.

For your amusement, the ending scene of "Being There" where Chauncey walks on water.

Executive Order 13575: 'The fascist stealth of Agenda 21 is upon us.'

By Terresa Monroe-Hamilton
TrevorLoudon.com
June 26, 2011

I didn’t even know about Agenda 21 until a couple of months ago. Did you know it has been around since 1992? It is quietly and stealthily being implemented throughout the United States and the world. And within its scope is contained some oldie but goody concerns that I have held for some time: confiscation of public lands by the government (the Wilderness Project), EPA over-regulation, population distribution and control and the list just keeps getting longer and scarier… Agenda 21 is a 40 chapter plan that lists a series of goals to be achieved globally. It is the global blueprint for changing the way we “live, eat, learn and communicate” because we must “save the earth.” Humans be damned.

Under Agenda 21, everything you can imagine would be heavily controlled by the government: water, electricity and transportation are just some of the areas of concentration that are targeted. This new way of living would usher in an uber-nanny state globally, the likes of which we have never dreamed of. Forget one-world government… Think one-world totalitarian regime.

So what exactly does Agenda 21 entail? It consists of 115 specific programs designed to facilitate, or to force, the transition to Sustainable Development. The objective, clearly enunciated by the leaders of the Earth Summit, is to bring about a change in the present system of independent nations. Agenda 21 is broken into 8 sections:
[SNIP]
Think our government won’t practice and promote population control? Think again. Below is a map for your review. The red and yellow areas would be off-limits to humans under a fully implemented Agenda 21. Humans would be herded and corralled into the black areas where they would more easily be controlled. Stack em and pack em – the smart growth zones. How very 1984. Deliberate dystopia…

It's that simple.

The ball is in our court folks. This is ours to win. Or loose.

This is ours for the taking, but we need to get ready. We need all hands on deck.

Sharron Angle & Carly Fiorina should have won their elections. Last November the left quietly accepted the coming nationwide Tea Party tsunami. So, for (perhaps) the fist time they did something that was fiscally prudent, albeit corrupt. They concentrated all their money on Union Bosses & their (taxpayer funded) ground teams. These ACORN-ish tax payer funded hoodlums swooped into CA & NV the last two weeks of the campaigns & poached the elections to preserve the status quo.

Gals & Guys: we cannot allow them to do this to us again. (Fool me once,...)The stakes are too high. GAME ON!

Registration with Organize4Palin (O4P) is one of the most important things to do right now if you want to support a Sarah Palin for President campaign.

We need to have a ground team of David's ready to take on the corrupt tax payer funded Goliath.

Our army of patriotic David's must rise up, stand together in solidarity & whack this nonsense straight between the eyes.

Palin and Bachmann: Smart and Admirable

In "The Week" section of the recently released July 4, 2011 issue of National Review, the editors published two snippets of news about Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann that are unlikely to appear on any pages of the left-wing media, and certainly will never be discussed by Shariah-sympathizing misogynists like Chris Matthews, Keith Olberman or Ed Schultz.

Take note.

------------------------------------------------

Regarding Sarah Palin . . .

Reporters converged on Juneau to inspect 24,199 pages of e-mails that Sarah Palin wrote as governor, released by the state in response to media requests. Preliminary eyeballing revealed nothing damaging to Palin and, indeed, almost nothing of any significance whatever. There was, however, the full text of an e-mail she sent to friends before the birth of her youngest child, Trig, written in the form of a letter from God:

"I put the idea in your hearts that his name should be 'Trig,' because it's so fitting, with two Norse meanings: 'True' and 'Brave Victory.' . . . He'll show you what 'true, brave victory' really means as those who love him will think less about self and focus less on what the world tells you is 'normal' or 'perfect.'"

Look past the media overlay of fascination and loathing, and you can see someone human, interesting, and in this case altogether admirable.

Regarding Michele Bachmann . . .

Sarah Palin once was flummoxed when asked which newspapers and magazines she prefers. Michele Bachmann, who is running for the Republican presidential nomination, learned from that example. Asked by the Wall Street Journal about her economic reading, the gentlelady from Minnesota said she was bringing along Ludwig von Mises's Human Action and Bureaucracy to the beach this summer. Other thinkers who make the Bachmann cut are Milton Friedman, Arthur Laffer, Thomas Sowell, and Walter Williams. Michele Bachmann may not be elected president of the United States, but it would be a tragedy if she failed to become president of the congressional book club.

------------------------------------------------

Speaking for myself, I would happily elect either, or both, of these ladies to occupy the White House.

Will The DNC and Democratic Secretaries of State Work Hand-in-Glove To Ensure Obama Gets A Better-Than-Equal Chance For Relection?

By Jeff Dunetz
BigGovernment.com
June 24, 2011

Democratic National  Committee (DNC) Chair, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Shultz has never been known as the sharpest pencil in the box, but since she took over as the head of the DNC she has added nasty to her profile. Her latest project is to try and water-down the impact GOP votes by allowing voter registration fraud across the country, and she is using the ‘Republicans are bigots” card to do it. She wrote an op-ed in US News and World Report claiming that Republicans are trying to restrict voting, especially minority voting with laws aimed at reducing voter fraud and requiring people to show ID when they show up to vote.
Across the country, Republicans are working to restrict Americans’ right to vote by enacting laws that curb when and how they can register to vote and go to the polls. For example, Republicans in Maine’s legislature have voted to end Election Day registration, a widely popular practice that, in 2008 alone, allowed 60,000 Mainers to register to vote.
The problem with the election day registration is it makes fraud easy because town clerks became overwhelmed with trying to verify the voter information.

A small tax-exempt political group with ties to wealthy liberals like billionaire financier George Soros has quietly helped elect 11 reform-minded progressive Democrats as secretaries of state to oversee the election process in battleground states and keep Republican “political operatives from deciding who can vote and how those votes are counted.”

Known as the Secretary of State Project (SOSP), the organization was formed by liberal activists in 2006 to put Democrats in charge of state election offices, where key decisions often are made in close races on which ballots are counted and which are not.

The group’s website said it wants to stop Republicans from “manipulating” election results.

Is the FBI Investigating Obama?

By Cliff Kincaid
Accuracy in Media
June 22, 2011

In a front page story about a major FBI terrorism investigation, The Washington Post has reported that the targets include “Chicagoans who crossed paths with Obama when he was a young state senator and some who have been active in labor unions that supported his political rise.” The implication is that the trail could lead to the White House.

This is an unusual investigation that does not primarily involve Islamists. Instead, it is focused on elements of the old international communist networks that many people mistakenly thought had faded away with the collapse of the Soviet Union. Those under investigation are suspected of providing support to foreign terrorist organizations such as the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine in the Middle East, a Marxist group. The Post called them “Colombian and Palestinian groups designated by the U.S. government as terrorists.”

The investigations came into public view last September when the FBI raided the homes of several “activists,” as the Post called them. Some lived in Chicago.

ED. Speaking of FBI investigations, what do you suppose the FBI is doing (or not doing) about this criminal complaint against Obama?

Palin's Common Sense Economic Principles Prove Bernanke's QE2 Experiment Was Wrong

By Howard Richman and Raymond Richman
AmericanThinker.com
June 23, 2011

On June 15, the Bureau of Labor Statistics released the inflation data for May. If you didn't hear about the new data, you are not alone -- the mainstream media buried the story. Why? Inflation hit 3.6% in May, even though gasoline prices actually fell that month. Inflation has been rising since November, as shown in the graph below:

These rising prices were largely caused by Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke's rapid expansion of the U.S. money supply, known as QE2 (Quantitative Easing 2). But inflation wasn't supposed to get this high.  Back in November, Bernanke told his fellow central bankers that the Federal Reserve's Open Market Committee (FOMC) was aiming for an inflation rate no higher than 2%. Specifically, he said:

Time For The Big Guns: 'Gunwalker' Requires Special Counsel Investigation

By Bob Owens
PajamasMedia
June 22, 2011

“Gunwalker” never should have happened.

We’ve spent the better part of a week here at Pajamas Media documenting the damning evidence of a reckless government that has conspired to allow gun runners to smuggle an estimated 2,000 weapons across the Mexican border to violent drug cartels.

During that time, we’ve discovered that the president and Democratic lawmakers have lied, and continue to lie, about the role of American guns and American small businessmen in arming drug cartels south of the border. We’ve watched as they’ve lied, and continue to lie, blaming gun shops for the carnage that has resulted from the depravity of Mexican narco-terrorists.

We’ve watched as ATF special agents and supervisors testified in front of Congress, angry and ashamed, about how the multi-agency task force they were a part of was responsible for arming the cartel gunmen that have killed scores of law enforcement officers and civilians in two countries.

This scandal must come to an end not with graceful and fault-free resignations, but with deliberate and careful prosecutions of those responsible.

U.S. Supreme Court Precedent States That Obama Is Not Eligible To Be President

By Leo Donofrio, Esq.
NaturalBornCitizen
June 21, 2011

The title of this article is correct.  After having completed a more thorough review of the relevant US Supreme Court cases discussing the Constitution’s natural-born citizen clause, I have discovered precedent which states that a natural-born citizen is a person born in the jurisdiction of the US to parents who are citizens.  Read that again.  I said precedent, not dicta.  The precedent holds that Obama is not eligible to be President of the United States.

Up until the publication of this report today, all discussion of the natural-born citizen issue (from both sides of the argument) agreed there had never been a precedent established by the US Supreme Court, and that the various cases which mentioned the clause did so in “dicta”.

Dicta are authoritative statements made by a court which are not binding legal precedent.
Black’s Law Dictionary defines “precedent” as a “rule of law established for the first time by a court for a particular type of case and thereafter referred to in deciding similar cases“.

Precedent that must be followed is known as binding precedent.  Under the doctrine of stare decisis, a lower court must honor findings of law made by a higher court.  On questions as to the meaning of federal law including the U.S. Constitution, statutes, and regulations, the U.S. Supreme Court’s precedents must be followed.

It can no longer be denied that there is controlling US Supreme Court precedent concerning the definition of a natural-born citizen according to Article 2 Section 1 of the US Constitution.  I predict satori will overcome those of you who have labored over this issue.  This is not a remote obscure reading.  It is, when revealed, a clear undeniable holding and binding precedent established by the highest Court of our nation which specifically defines an Article 2 Section 1 natural-born citizen as a person born in the US to parents who are citizens.

Therefore, Obama – according to US Supreme Court precedent – is not eligible to be President.

Set Up: While Damning Gun Dealers In Public, Administration Was Secretly Forcing Them To Provide Weapons To the Mexican Drug Cartels

By Bob Owens
PajamasMedia.com
June 20, 2011

The most damning revelations coming out of the hearings on Operation Fast and Furious held by the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform are the unmistakable indications that the program was never designed to succeed as a law enforcement operation at all.
[snip]
Fast and Furious, also known by the more accurate “Gunwalker,” allowed known straw purchasers to buy large quantities of firearms — often a dozen or more semi-automatic rifles — at a time with the full knowledge of ATF agents and executives. The guns were then smuggled into Mexico, as frustrated front-line ATF agents watched, under strict orders to do nothing.

ATF agents testifying in front of the House Oversight Committee could not explain how the operation was supposed to succeed when their surveillance efforts stopped at the border and interdiction was never an option.
[snip]
The obvious answer is that Gunwalker’s objective was never intended to be a “legitimate law enforcement interest.” Instead, it appears that ATF Acting Director Ken Melson and Department of Justice senior executives specifically created an operation that was designed from the outset to arm Mexican narco-terrorists and increase violence substantially along both sides of the Southwest border.

Whoa! Increasing Number of TSA Jackboots Storming America's Public Places

By Tara Servatius
AmericanThinker.com
June 20, 2011

Americans must decide if, in the name of homeland security, they are willing to allow TSA operatives to storm public places in their communities with no warning, pat them down, and search their bags.  And they better decide quickly.

Bus travelers were shocked when jackbooted TSA officers in black SWAT-style uniforms descended unannounced upon the Tampa Greyhound bus station in April with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies and federal bureaucrats in tow.

A news report by ABC Action News in Tampa showed passengers being given the signature pat downs Americans are used to watching the Transportation Security Administration screeners perform at our airports. Canine teams sniffed their bags and the buses they rode. Immigration officials hunted for large sums of cash as part of an anti-smuggling initiative.

The TSA clearly intends for these out-of-nowhere swarms by its officers at community transit centers, bus stops and public events to become a routine and accepted part of American life.
The TSA has conducted 8,000 of these security sweeps across the country in the past year alone, TSA chief John Pistole told a Senate committee June 14.  They are part of its VIPR (Visible Intermodal Prevention and Response) program, which targets public transit related places.

[Ed.  How does this comport with the Fourth Amendment, which says: "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized"?]

Superman Knocks Liberal Myth Into The Stratosphere

Superman Knocks Liberal Myth Into The Stratosphere
By Lloyd Marcus, Proud Unhyphenated American
Vice Chair, The Campaign To Defeat Obama

Patriots, I am heart broken and extremely angry. TEA for Education, a non-profit, invited me to a viewing of the documentary, “Waiting For Superman”. Wow, talk about powerful. I realize many of you are familiar with this movie, but many are not.

The movie exposes how America's public education system is about keeping the teachers unions fat and happy at the expense of our kids. The devastating affect on the lives of “real people”, students and their parents is infuriating.

Despite what libs would have you believe, we spend a ton of money, per child, on education. And yet, public school test scores continue to plummet. Your money is not going to teachers, it is going to bureaucrats and union dues. The democrat party receives 90% of teachers unions political contributions.

In the movie, committed good teachers and administrators attempted to implement common sense changes to better educate students. They were politically beaten down and kicked to the curb by the teachers unions. How dare these teachers and administrators buck the system!

The movie exposes, “The Lemon Dance” a term used by education insiders. Every public school has bad (lemon) teachers. The teachers unions make it almost impossible to fire them. A frustrated principal, once a year, can send his lemon to another school. Hopefully, the new lemon another frustrated principal dumps on him will be a little better than what he had. Thus, The Lemon Dance.

Folks, as I said, the movie made me angry, but not with an anger which causes me to behave badly. I have a healthy righteous anger which inspires me to do something to encourage positive change. I could not wait to tell you about this extremely important and moving film.

For decades, liberals have been selling the myth that urban minority kids surrounded by drugs, poverty, gangs and crime simply can not learn. The typical liberal so-called compassionate solution was to lobby to lower standards and not expect much out of them.

Any conservative who suggests giving minorities the respect and dignity of holding them to the same academic standards as whites is branded an insensitive racist.

“Waiting For Superman” knocks the liberal myth into the stratosphere that urban low income minority students are doomed to failure. The film documents that given the proper expectation, attention, discipline and good TEACHERS, low income inner city minority students test higher than ALL students; including white kids in wealthy neighborhoods.

Another thing I find truly annoying is we black conservatives are called Uncle Tom “traitors to our race”. But, black conservatives are the ones working with the tea party to end the liberal teachers unions tyrannical grip which has wreaked havoc on the lives and education of all American students, particularly minorities.

The national black student high school dropout rate is around 70%. In many New York City minority communities only 17% of blacks graduate public high school. This is horrifically scandalous. http://bit.ly/k8uwfX

Meanwhile, the liberal media, NAACP, Jessie Jackson and company are united in their mission to protect teachers unions. Why? The teachers unions are great financial contributors to the democrats and are in complete solidarity with the left's socialist/progressive agenda.

Sometimes God gives us great gifts in ugly packages. I was devastated when Obama won the presidency. I knew he was wrong for America.

Today, I thank God for our most far left radical president in American history. Patriots have been passively submitting to political correctness and tolerating failed liberal policies for years.

Upon entering the Oval Office, Obama immediately began fulfilling his vow to “fundamentally transform America”.This was the liberal straw that broke the camel's back. Rather than throwing their televisions out of the window yelling, “I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore”, Americans began having tea parties. Thus, Obama birthed the Tea Party.

TEA For Education is a perfect example of which I speak. Unopposed for far too many years, the left has been indoctrinating our kids focusing on “Heather Has Two Mommies” and “going green” while almost ignoring the teaching of reading, math and science.

Also seen in the movie, I was shocked to learn how far down the list U.S. students are testing in reading, math and science compared to the rest of the world. Truly disheartening.
And yet, our kids are well educated about how America and white males in particular, are the greatest source of evil in the world. This is unacceptable and infuriating.

So, I thank God and Obama for TEA For Education. They have chapters in 11 states and are spreading. TEA For Education is doing the Lords work, fighting on behalf of our children.

I would like to give a special “shout out” to TEA For Education Florida rep, Rhonda Lochiatto and national rep, Beverly Elliott for inviting me to the viewing. Patriots across America truly appreciate your efforts. God bless you both for your compassion and commitment to our kids.

Patriots, please see this movie. It will make you cry. It will make you angry. Good!

Anger is not always a bad thing. As a matter of fact, certain things should make you angry; such as the injustice of extremely bright black and Hispanic students being trapped in failing schools because of selfish teachers unions.

The Bible says, “Be angry, but sin not.”

Patriots, I pray that “Waiting For Superman” will inspire a righteous anger, not to behave badly, but passionately seek to correct the left's horrific assault on our children.

Texas: "The EPA is closing in for the kill."

Texas' coal-powered energy plants
By J. E. Dyer
HotAir.com
June 19, 2011

The necessary precondition for Texas’s unique economic success – a beacon in a deep recession – is energy.  And the EPA is closing in for the kill.

This would be one thing if Texas were an outlier among the 50 states in terms of dirty air or an otherwise demonstrably imperiled environment.  But the truth is closer to the opposite:  the air in Texas has been getting cleaner; in the urban areas, much cleaner.  And in spite of being by far the largest electric power producer of the 50 states, and heavily reliant on coal, Texas has been steadily reducing its emissions of the EPA’s least-favored compounds from coal combustion (e.g., sulfur dioxide and nitrous oxide). Its emissions of NOx and SO2 are substantially lower than the national average; Texas is ranked the 11th lowest in NOx emissions (.098 lb/mmBtu in 2009, versus a national average of .159 lb/mmBtu), and 24th in SO2 (.309 lb/mmBtu in 2009, versus a national average of .458 lb/mmBtu).

But the EPA isn’t really making the argument that Texas is an environmental pigsty.  It’s not putting any data or findings behind that premise, at any rate.  Instead, it is simply acting high-handedly, assuming an authority that nothing in written law confers on it, to pronounce Texas’s procedures in violation of EPA rules – even when there is no basis for making that claim.  To put it bluntly, the EPA is making a power grab.

Random Thoughts About My Dad: Happy Father's Day

Random Thoughts About My Dad: Happy Father's Day
By Lloyd Marcus, Proud Unhyphenated American
Vice Chair, The Campaign To Defeat Obama

My 83 year old dad has been a Christian minister most of my life. I thought back to when I was a child, how even our neighborhood winos respected my dad; partly because he was a true man of God, but I believe mostly because dad respected them. Dad always greeted everyone with a smile and a cheerful, “Hello, how ya' doin'?”

Though well versed in the Word of God, dad's character and attitude were his greatest sermon. The winos would aggressively protect us “HEY, that's one of Reverend Moccasins (Marcus') kids, leave 'em alone!”

I was around twelve years old when our family, mom, dad and four younger siblings, moved out of a Baltimore city government housing project into our home in Pumphrey, Maryland; a black suburban community.

Upon our arrival to Pumphery, the overgrowth in our back yard was at least six feet tall. My entire family tackled the jungle. An over six foot tall, powerful, leather skinned, hard hands, old working man appeared with a huge sickle. He introduced himself and led the charge in conquering the overgrowth. We later learned that our helpful neighbor, Mr Charley, was famed as the meanest man in the community.

Mr Charley was quite outspoken about his disdain for preachers and church folks. And yet, he respected my dad. Dad and “Mean Old Man Charley” became good friends.

Dad, a young preacher with a wife and five kids needed a whopping $110 for his tuition at Baltimore School of the Bible which was not affordable for my parents. Without dad asking, Mr Charley showed up with a big jar containing $110 in dimes for dad's tuition; such generosity from a man who claimed not to “cotton to” preachers and church folks.

There were two fine churches in Pumphery; the Baptist Church and the Methodist Church. But, our family attended a tiny storefront church in the ghetto of east Baltimore city where dad was assistant pastor.

When hurricane Andrew devastated Pumphery with water four feet high in most resident's homes including ours and to the rooftops of others, the community sought out my dad for leadership. Folks knew they could trust the character and leadership of Reverend Marcus.

As a kid, I remember cleaning mud out of neighbor's homes and dad, with my brother David, rescuing people from their rooftops in a small boat. Dad also worked with the Red Cross coordinating relief efforts, assisting neighbors with paper work and etc.

Watching my dad prepare his sermons taught me a valuable lesson about “putting in the necessary work and effort” into whatever you set your hands to do. Dad would prepare his well thought out, researched and entertaining sermons in his “official study”, our living room. I remember as a little boy, on many occasions, sitting on the front row in tiny churches, enjoying dad's passionate delivery of his sermon to as few as five people.

Dad grew to pastor several large churches during his 50 years in ministry. He retired for a few years, but was called back by the conference.

Today, dad is Dr./Rev. Lloyd E. Marcus, author and pastor of four churches.

Dad, now 83, called me the other day with a question. Due to my 15 years in television broadcasting, he assumed I would know. “How much do they pay people to come on the Springer Show and humiliate themselves?”

I told dad Springer guests are not paid. They come on the program simply to be on national TV. Shame is a thing of the past. Dad was stunned.

I am extremely grateful that at 83, the dad I have admired all of my life is “still here”; as sharp, witty and upbeat as ever. Dad still has a great baritone voice. I thought, “Wow,what a tremendous blessing.”

My singing career began at age 9, singing solos in dad's storefront church. When I became a teenager, dad and I sang together in a gospel quartet.

I am flying dad down from Maryland to Deltona Records in Florida. We are going to record a duet to go on my upcoming Christian music CD. I can hardly wait. Happy Father's Day dad. I love you.

Soviet Agents Worked in Upper Management At New York Times Until 1983. Now We Understand.

Times' Bias Shows In Palin Email Affair
Editorial
Investor's Business Daily
June 17, 2011

Media: No wonder last week's frenzy over Sarah Palin's old emails went as fast as it came. Not only did it turn out to be the nonstory of the year. It gave objective journalism one of its biggest black eyes yet.

We don't remember anything quite like it. The state of Alaska was releasing more than 24,000 — or 300 pounds' worth — of emails that Palin wrote during her years as governor (2006 to 2009). The documents were a matter of public record, we were told, because Palin often used personal emails to cover state business. Whatever the case, the New York Times was beside itself.
[snip]
The Times has done this so often that this latest "media colonoscopy," as Palin supporters describe it, is just another day at the office. How many times through the years has the "newspaper of record" stepped in to destroy some person or undermine some effort that could have been good for the country?
[snip]
Bleiberg told O'Neil one more thing: that at the end of World War II, the USSR planted two agents in the New York Times — and they were still there in 1983, in upper management.

Did the USSR really do that? We can't be sure. But it certainly would explain a lot, wouldn't it?

Hispanics Are Natural Republicans

By George F. Will
Investor's Business Daily
June 16, 2011

DALLAS — For a conservative Texan seeking national office, it could hardly get better than this:

In a recent 48-hour span, Ted Cruz, a candidate for next year's Republican Senate nomination for the seat being vacated by Republican Kay Bailey Hutchison, was endorsed by the Club for Growth PAC, FreedomWorks PAC, talk radio host Mark Levin and Erick Erickson of RedState.com.

And Cruz's most conservative potential rival for the nomination decided to seek a House seat instead.

For conservatives seeking reinforcement for Washington's too-limited number of limited-government constitutionalists, it can hardly get better than this:

Obama's Fossilized Concepts

By Victor Davis Hanson
Investor's Business Daily
June 16, 2011

Barack Obama is the most reactionary president in the recent history of the United States. He seems intent on turning back the clock to the good old days of the 1960s and 1970s, when rigid political orthodoxy, not an open mind, once guided government.

Take the economy. The 1980s implosion of communism in Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union proved that state control of the means of production guaranteed poverty and worse. The current insolvent and fragmenting European Union, and the stagnant economics of the exploding Middle East, remind us that state socialism does not work.
