10 days ago in Anaheim Sarah Palin pointed out that in California we have a Grizzly Bear on our flag (whether it is a Mama or Papa Grizzly is open for debate). So, in honor of our state and our country I would like to announce that today Los Angeles has been blessed with another much needed Grizzly. But unlike Mama Grizzlies Carly Fiorina and Star Parker, today California got it's first Papa Grizzly! Sarah Palin endorsed Chuck Wilkerson for CA 30 in the race to FIRE HENRY WAXMAN. This is really exciting news. The choice for CA 30 is very clear. Henry Waxman is a 35 year incumbent hellbent on shoving his progressive agenda of: Tax, Spend, Redistribute down our throats. Henry does not believe in creating wealth in the private sector, he only believes in redistributing it in the public sector via entitlements, ridiculous wasteful programs (have you heard of The Obama Phone?), crap and tax, and welfare.
Between January 2009 through August 2010, Henry Waxman has voted on a shocking progressive agenda that included: international abortion funding, dissent silencing "hate crimes", the possibly illegal ObamaCare, and the confirmation of two controversial Supreme Court justices who just don't see America the way most Americans see America. It's time for Los Angeles to put an end to Henry Waxman's progressive, Anti Military, and Anti-Free Market tax/spend/redistribute ( Discrimination by Taxation) ways.
Chuck Wilkerson is the antithesis to Henry Waxman.
To begin with Chuck is Pro-America. (Isn't it a shame that being Pro-America is now something we must consider during the not-so-golden age of Obama's Hope and Change).
Chuck is a common sense, constitutional conservative dedicated to putting government back on the side of the people.
I've had the privilege of meeting Chuck Wilkerson twice. The first time was at the Santa Monica GOP Headquarters Grand Opening last month. I had a feeling right then and there that this could be the right guy to finally send Henry Waxman into retirement. (Wouldn't that be a wonderful thing to celebrate?)
But what really impressed me about Chuck came just 14 days ago. I had just walked into my apartment in Hollywood after a weekend in San Diego celebrating my Nana's (a Nana Grizzly to be exact) 90th Birthday. My phone was ringing and it was Sandy Krueger one of Chuck's volunteer staff members. Sandy and I had met at the Santa Monica GOP Headquarter Grand Opening.
Sandy had been reading online about O4P and our work for Sarah Palin here in Los Angeles. She liked the O4P coverage of The Beverly Hills Tea Party. But Sandy was most impressed that we took the time to learn about the Organizer of the Tea Party: Josephine Rescigno (Unlike the local Lamestream Media who wrote all sorts of nasty lies).
Sandy called me up and wanted me to come meet with her, Chuck, and the sadly under-funded, under staffed team of volunteers. Chuck's team works for love of country, not money.
Unfortunately, like so many other Americans I had to get rid of the automobile. So transportation sometimes is tricky as I have to make arrangements with a friend who has a small business car service. (He’s a patriot so he gives me a killer deal!)
But this wasn’t tricky at all for Chuck Wilkerson. Chuck said, “Let’s all pile into Sandy’s car and drive up to Thomas’s house.” Can you imagine Henry Waxman, Barbara Boxer, or Maxine Waters EVER uttering those words? Let alone thinking them.
After talking with Chuck and his team of patriots I knew he special. Chuck has a servant's heart. He doesn't want to go to Washington to rule. Chuck want's to go to Washington for the right reasons. Chuck wants to serve.
Chuck reminded me of someone else.
I was so impressed with Chuck and his team that I posted a blog the next day called, "Dear Sarah Palin, Los Angeles Needs a Papa Grizzly!"
Since meeting Chuck and his team just two weeks ago I've tried to do what I can to help this patriot who really wants to put America back on the right track.
Chuck really needs our help these last two weeks. Without the luxury of a taxpayer funded staff (like the incumbent) Chuck is relying on a grassroots team of supporters.
