Haiti: A Palin Family Affair

Yesterday our historic President had a busy day. He started the day by out sourcing the American presidency and abdicating to Bill Clinton. Big Daddy President Clinton was more than happy to oblige and is rumored to still be in the Oval Office (just until Obama gets back). President Obama then self emasculated by admitting to the press he must leave an hour early because he needed to help Michelle pick out her dress didn't want to keep the lovely Michelle Antoinette waiting any longer (for the big Christmas Party). Historic, indeed.

Meanwhile, in stark contrast America's Shadow President Sarah Palin is on a mercy mission today in Haiti with Reverend Franklin Graham of Samaritan's Purse .

Last January when the devastating earthquake took place in Haiti, Hollywood Celebrities and President Obama rushed to showcase to the world how much empathy they had. (Obama spoke immediately for the people of Haiti. However, for the tragic Ft. Hood Islamic Terrorist attack IN OUR OWN COUNTRY Barack Obama took his time before delivering his creepy, insensitive, and nonchalant comments after first offering a "shout-out" to one of his buddies)

Typically, Hollywood has moved on to another fashionable cause or injustice du jour. Unfortunately Haiti has been forgotten.

Enter Franklin Graham, Greta Van Susteren, and Sarah Palin.

Today's visit comes during a cholera outbreak which has killed more than 2,000 people and affected another 90,000.

Fresh off her 3rd place win on ABC's Dancing with the Stars, daughter Bristol Palin joined her Mom and Dad for the weekend humanitarian mission.

The Palin Family toured shelters that Reverend Graham and Samaritan's Purse helped to build.

"I've really enjoyed meeting this community...They are so full of joy. We are so fortunate in America and we are responsible for helping those less fortunate. Samaritan's Purse is still here doing the tough work." - Sarah Palin

Pray. Give. Get involved.

Sarah Palin and Franklin Graham are going to be on: On The Record with Greta Van Susteren Monday night 10 pm (EST) talking about their trip and ways you can get involved to help those in need during this Christmas Season.

In the meantime, Samaritan's Purse has a wonderful Christmas gift you build yourself for $35. It is a childrens Christmas gift box called: Operation Christmas Child.

Humble servants of the people make the best leaders. Great leaders strive to create favorable surroundings for those not just when it is fashionable, but when it is right.
