Obamacare: 31 Million Will Remain Uninsured Despite a $2 Trillion Cost [Revised]

Republican majority in Congress needs to work earnestly in undoing the mess that Obamacare has made, preferably ditch it and at the same time work at a plan that will help people get healthcare they can afford. Really tough task. Keith Koffler wrote:

Under Obamacare, 10 million people will lose their employer-provided insurance by 2021 – or one out of sixteen workers – a number that is ten times the original estimate, according to the Congressional Budget Office. The CBO also estimates that 31 million people will remain uninsured despite a price tag of $2 trillion, begging the question, was there not a better way to do this than socializing the U.S. health system?

In the News: January 28th 2015 - Bergdahl To Face Desertion Trial

Katie Pavlich … US Army Sgt. Bowel Bergdahl, who was traded by the Obama administration for five high risk Taliban leaders last year, will be charged with desertion. Retired Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer broke the news on O'Reilly Factor.  

"The Army has come to its conclusion, and Bowe Bergdahl, Sgt. Bergdahl, will be charged with desertion. I have been told and confirmed by a few other sources that his attorney was given what we call a charge sheet. A charge sheet is essentially the results of the investigation listing out the articles of the Uniformed Code of Military Justice that have been violated. The key violation is desertion," Shaffer said. "The decision has been made."

President Obama backed down from his SOTU plan to tax 529 college investment funds; but he and his administration is still working on a back-door approach to tax the Internet. In effect, the government already taxes the Internet through the communication companies, just like the government does with the telephone. But that is not good enough for the tax-and-spend politicians who refuse to budget as evident with the skyrocket national debt. Apparently either no one noticed or did not bother to look or did not care when they re-elected Obama in 2014. Oddly, Republicans have lost re-election on far less than what Obama and company have been doing. The myriad of scandals and the horror of the Benghazi attack outcome should have sent Obama out to pasture – but they didn't. It appears the majority of voters were more afraid of Mitt Romney as president. Not that I wanted him as a running nominee in the primary elections, not because of his character, but his political track record. His state health care program mirrored the Obamacare program now in place, which the US Supreme Court should have stopped from the beginning, but still would have been an improvement over the administration at present. Now the Republican legislators are faced with attempts to put Obamacare in the garbage bin where it belongs. Even if they pass such legislation in Congress, they will have to get enough support to override the assured veto via President Obama.

Suffering and Persecution of Christians Continues

During the period after Jesus of Nazareth's death when early Christianity arose with the help of the Apostles, the first missionaries, there were no churches. Religious meetings were held in private homes because of Roman persecution. In Iran, there are only house churches because of persecution by Muslims. Recently a US pastor in Iran was sentenced to eight years in prison for threatening Iran's “national security” because he was leading Christian house churches.

In Syria, Jihadist rebels looted Christian churches and homes.

In Libya, Muslims threatened nuns and forced them to leave the country.

State of the Union 2015: What About Islamic Jihad Global War?

There is one major topic that I doubt President Obama will mention, and if he does, will provide his usual rhetoric and denial: Islamic Fascist Jihad War. It is a war only declared by the perpetrators of a myriad of crimes against humanity and the agenda to create global caliphate Sharia theocracy.

Of course, Obama did not take part in the “solidarity” march of several national leaders in France, nor was a representative, like VP Joe Biden attend.

It has been revealed that France has an estimated 751 'No-Go Zones' – something that is becoming common in Europe as Islamic immigrants takes advantage of tolerance while keeping in tune with intolerant doctrine. Instead of assimilating in their new country, they instead develop zones that has become ruled by Sharia law, despite it not being the law in their adopted country. So, the question is: Why did they leave their home countries if they insist that the adopted country be a model from whence they came? It is simply called invasion.

Long List of Issues for State of the Union 2015

President Obama staff sent me an email to address one of the topics listed as the “priority” - unfortunately ALL the topics listed were priority – and was incomplete, as the Daily Signal demonstrated. If he is truly going to address problems/issues that he has neglected for two terms, some being caused by himself and his administration, it will be a long State of the Union address. Of course, with all the smoke-and-mirror policies and such a long list, plus his inflated ego with nothing to back it up and denial – the list of 33 items in the list at Daily Signal will never be addressed much less solved. 

College and Universities Are Not Worth the Cost

Generally speaking, most colleges are not worth the cost or the attendance today.

College/university costs have increased by more than 1,000% since 1978. People graduating from college in the 1950s knew more and were better educated than any Yale graduate today. Like in high school, there are gender studies, ethnic studies, moral equivalence and anti-American curriculum that has taken the place of important aspects of 'higher' education. It has lessened the meaning of obtaining a degree. Like Ann Coulter wrote:

Did the Japanese Really Start World War II or Did We? It's worse than not reading Shakespeare. They're reading Shakespeare for homosexual imagery. As Yale professor Daniel Gelernter says, colleges are "threatening to become an elaborate, extremely expensive practical joke." The fact that 80 percent of Weathermen -- the violent '60s radicals -- are full college professors tells you all you need to know about the state of higher education today. The cost of college spirals continuously upward not because the product has gotten better -- it's gotten much, much worse -- but because college loans are backed by the taxpayer. … Americans are being bamboozled into paying any price for a college degree because they are relentlessly told that if they don't go to college, their lives will be hell. And they're told this not only by the colleges, but by the government. The sales pitch is manifestly false. … If any other business made such false claims about a product, there would be massive congressional hearings, media denunciations and prison sentences for the CEOs. …
