A teenage stalker is threatening to try and overturn a restraining order issued to keep him away from Sarah Palin, it was reported today.

Coming after the attack by a deranged 22-year-old gunman on Arizona congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, the threat has caused alarm in the former vice presidential candidate’s camp.

According to the reports, 19-year-old Shawn Christy has told family members he plans to travel to Palin’s hometown of Wasilla to try and get the restraining order against him dismissed.
Christy, from Pennsylvania, hasn’t been spotted in Alaska, but he has already filed a legal motion to remove the protective order that was agreed after the teenager sent the 46-year-old former governor threatening emails and letters.
