NEA's Communist Indoctrination of Our Public School Teachers

The National Education Association (NEA), the U.S.'s largest labor union, is promoting communism to the millions of American public school teachers it represents. Teachers who are influenced by their union's efforts are more likely to indoctrinate American children into communism.

For the past several months, the NEA website has recommended that its members read books by communist sympathizer Saul Alinsky. And, for a time, the website listed October 1 as a day for teachers and students to celebrate the anniversary of the Communist takeover of China by Mao Zedong.
[Note:  Nice to see that others are becoming aware of the NEA's promotion of Saul Alinsky's tactics.  I recently reported on this same topic.  Indeed, the NEA has been promoting Alinsky amongst its union members for years.  Kuddos to Bill Costello for helping to raise the alarm.  Anyone for school choice?]

  1. The creeping communism by such quasi-govermental organizations as the NEA is nothing new. It has been going on - accelerating even - since the end of WWII.

Aside from the massive tax costs of funding such special interest groups, they have an inordinate influence over what and how our children are taught. "Liocal control" of schools is a pathetic joke and has been for many decades.

It's time to do away with not only NEA but many of the other governmental control groups that are currently robbing taxpayers blind. Many - or even most - are not needed at all and if anything do more harm than good (in addition to the costs).
