Just as the political analysts
predicted, President Obama's plan to use executive order to counter
the immigration laws that the federal government has, for so long,
ignored no matter what political club has been president or majority
in Congress is coming soon to a progressive socialist enactment that
will affect you. He waited until after the mid-term elections, which
did not help the cause of the Democrats and their progressive
socialist agenda.
It is expected that Obama will also
expand his 2-year-old program that protects young immigrants from
deportation – as the parents of those children had planned coming
from various places of Central America filled with violence and
repercussions of the crime cartel that has immigrated to the United
States with the illegal immigrants.
Of course, congressional Republicans
are opposed to the plans of this inept, corrupt president; but
looking at their past record as a political majority, people are
pessimistic towards any concrete actions promised to be taken by the
political entity that gained congressional majority. However, the
words of congressional members are strong in public statements, like
John Boehner (R_OH), who is still Speaker of the House despite
his constant capitulation to Obama policies:
We're going to fight the president tooth and nail if he continues down this path. This is the wrong way to govern. This is exactly what the American people said on Election Day they didn't want. And, so all the options are on the table.
According to AP
news …
Some conservatives in the House and Senate announced plans to push for language in must-pass spending bills to block the president from acting. But other Republicans warned that such a push could result in another government shutdown like the one last year over Obama's health care plan.
Senator Marco
Rubio, who gained a reputation of speaking strongly, but then
his actions not matching his words:
My sense is that the vast majority of us want to do everything we can to stop it, but also want to avoid outcomes that would prove bad for the country as a whole.
Senator,
how in the world would stopping illegal immigration and securing our
borders – and – deporting those that have remained here breaking
US laws be “bad for the country as a whole”?
I
do not know about you, but I have reached the point to not trust
anyone in Washington DC, unless their actions are to adhere to
constitutional law.
Which
brings to mind something that congress must do: create an amendment
to counter the original immigration clause where people who come here
illegally, have a child here, and use that reason to stay.
The
Constitution was created to be amended with a two-thirds majority in
Congress and majority of states to ratify it. Thomas Jefferson saw
this to be important because although the Constitution was well
written, there would be need in the future to add or change the
articles of the Constitution as the need rose. It is how slavery
became forbidden, women, Native Americans, and African Americans
obtained the right to vote in every state of the Union.
As Mr. Krauthammer pointed out, Barack Obama was a constitutional law student - so why has he not adhered to its articles (and amendments)? Why does his political insist that the Constitution is "outdated", but refuses to submit any alterations that would make it updated? It is because they know they would be found out, like the recent media pinpointing upon the statement of the MIT professional who was the architect for not only Obamacare, but the GOP poster boy's 'Romneycare" - stating that the American people are stupid for falling for such a program? And yet, if it was a stupid program, why did the MIT provide time and energy in its architecture?
Like Obama's personal background and history - too many questions and no answers.
Obama has stood before the American people with a straight face stating that he takes the Constitution seriously.
Nancy Pelosi, a person who has demonstrated consistently that she is not qualified to be a part of anything political, has been a testament to the alleged mental disability of the majority voter, now pretends she does not know who created Obamacare. But then again, she was the one that told the people that the bill must be passed in order to see what's in it - her answer when the media found out that few in Congress truly read the overly large bill. Another problem with bills put forth for legislation is its language. Nancy Pelosi and her ridiculous remarks and obvious lies have hit the news again - and still the people of California allow her to represent them. Believe it or not, some of the obstinate leftist media is covering it all up saying that the only American people upset about the confession of the MIT professor are conservatives. Really? The remark was made to voters, whatever their political ideology is, specifically those that supported Obama and the biggest social program since social security; which, by the way, has proven to be an economical burden - politicians blaming it on the baby boomer generation instead of themselves who stole from it for decades. Who will they blame it on when the 'baby boomers' die out?
The Constitution was designed to be written in simple language and not take up vast quantities of paper. The only thing complicated in the Constitution is the part concerning the electoral college, a brilliant solution to the problem of larger states that have more population getting an advantage in a presidential election. Progressives like Hillary Clinton tried to shoot down that part of the Constitution. Indeed, it was Hillary Clinton who coined the changed description of the Democratic Party from 'liberal' to 'progressives' - along with the political elite who have continued their rant about the Constitution being outdated, written by 'old white men'. Would it have been any different if written by young black, red, or yellow men? The same people who constantly throw slavery into the people's face, generations after it was dissolved, use a racist phrase such as that. Let me provide them a bit of historical fact: it was 'white men', whether they be middle-aged or old white men that put together the amendment that stated that slavery was forbidden. It was white abolitionists who founded the NAACP, which is now all black and which now has a racist agenda and atitude - reversed racism.
According to a study by the Migration Policy Institute, 3.8 million Americans have lived here illegally and were allowed to stay because their children, born in the United States are citizens; which makes it a sticky situation. Fairly, if any of those people have lived here as lawful citizens, there may be compensation – but it would also be an opportunity to send career criminals back to the nation they originated their life of crime extended here when they illegally crossed the border.
The
intention of Obama is to grant citizenship or permanent resident
green cards without approval or action by Congress; offering
temporary protection – as he has previously done.
Big,
bureaucratic government always creates a mess, and more often than
not, those elected and paid to fix it, just have not performed their
duties, always choosing the easy way out. That also has shown that it
just creates new problems. It is time that elected officials and
their hired employees in the federal government begin to realize that
the military phrase, “keep it simple” must be enacted and that if
previous policies and legislation has failed to perform (as some
elected officials), then it is time for it to be annulled and sent to
the garbage bin.
Trying
to fix problems with failed solutions over and over, is as Albert
Einstein said: “insanity”.
The old saying, "an ounce of prevention cures a pound of cure" applies here - if the executive branch and Congress enforced the immigration laws, and the US Supreme Court and Congress ensured that it was enforced - over decades - this issue would be an easier fix.
Charles Krauthammer, Free Beacon:
Limbaugh points out that an amnesty can never be reversed, like legislation.
After winning the majority in the mid-term elections, GOP begins congressional activities by being divided over illegal immigration. They weren't so divided when they asked their constituents for their vote. Are we trapped in some sort of vicious circle?
The details of the action may be difficult, but the gist of the action is clear: secure our borders, stop illegal immigration, treat the problem as if it were an invasion - because, guess what folks, when millions are pouring over our borders uninvited, it IS an invasion! That means it is time to quit kissing the buttocks of the Mexican government and demand they do their part in repairing and stopping the problem. Any other country would believe this to be a declaration of war on the part of Mexico whose government teaches their youth that uninvited immigration is not illegal because it is land belonging to Mexico.

Charles Krauthammer, Free Beacon:
President Obama’s plan to grant amnesty to 4.5 million illegal immigrants was “an impeachable offense.” Krauthammer said that prosecutorial discretion, which Obama is invoking to justify his executive action, is only meant for extreme cases in which one or two individuals are prevented from being deported. He's right, but he has already committed offenses that justify impeachment - nothing happened. It is because if they are successful, VP Joe Biden will take the reins, and I believe the political opponents, including Democrats, are more afraid of him than Obama when it comes to ineptness.

No tolerance for a violent intolerant religion.
Remember that the GOP did not use a political platform, like in 1994, to win the majority - they won because of the majority of the populace are tired of the inept Obama administration and its complying congressional members. Fickle, I know, but its fact. But what can be said of this when a society insists that the legalization of marijuana is more important than issues of import like Islamic Jihadism, securing our borders and our astounding national debt.
As I have said for some time: We cannot expect the government to reform if society does not do so first.
Now that the GOP has majority in Congress, are we finally going to see justice over the myriad of scandals, the worst being Benghazi that cost the lives of four Americans and injury to several others?
