Open Letter to Glenn Beck from Charles Kerchner, Cmdr. USNR (Retired)

open letter to glenn beck from charles kerchner cmdr usnr retiredDear Glenn Beck:

Glenn, you say you have studied the founders and framers of our U.S. Constitution to try to learn more about the original intent and meanings of the words therein.

I Believe The Fix Was In for the 2008 Election and The Cover Up is Still Going Strong and Has Created The Perfect Storm for a Constitutional Crisis!

Glenn, when are you going to read the preeminent legal treatise of the time of the Revolutionary War against Great Britain that was used by the founders to write the Declaration of Independence and the framers to craft our U.S. Constitution? Benjamin Franklin referred to it as being in heavy use and demand by the delegates at the Continental Congress in 1775 when four copies were sent to him by Dumas, who published a newly edited edition in 1775. It was written in French, the diplomatic language of the time, of which Franklin and many others who founded our nation were fluent in, as well as English.

The term, "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness," is a direct quote from this book. And there are many more quotes from it in our Declaration of Independence and Constitution. And this book is even mentioned by name in Article I, Section 8 of the U.S. Constitution.

This book was the legal reference book describing a new form of government for governing a Constitutional Republic with a written Constitution, which George Washington had on his desk and was observed reading from on his first day in office in New York, and it was the legal book John Jay had on his desk as the 1st Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court. John Jay's letter to George Washington is the reason the legal term of art from that legal book is in Article II of the U.S. Constitution as to the eligibility requirements to be President.

The name of the book is, "The Law of Nations or Principles of Natural Law", by Vattel. I recommend you read it. If you don't have time to read it all, read at least Volume 1. And if you don't have time to read that, then read Vol.1, Chapter 19, Section 212, on the natural law definitions of "Citizenship" and the separate meaning and definition of the legal term of art "natural born Citizen".

The question for constitutional standards regarding Obama is not whether he is a Citizen of the U.S., but whether he is a "natural born Citizen" of the U.S. to Constitutional standards, as envisioned by the founders and framers of the Constitution, and reiterated in four U.S. Supreme Court decisions over the next 100 years of this nation until the progressive movement started to blur those two terms in the eyes and minds of the American people so their political party can put forward and elect anyone to the office of President and Commander in Chief (CINC) of our military. The President and CINC per the founders intent must have sole allegiance at birth to only the USA with no citizenship at birth from his parents in any other nation. That is a "natural born Citizen," citizenship at birth in only the USA. He must be born in the USA to two Citizens of the USA to achieve natural born Citizenship and sole allegiance at birth. Obama was born with dual-citizenship. He was not eligible per the founders intent. But the Progressive movement has convinced People otherwise. And you are helping them with their cover up.

Read Vattel's, "The Law of Nations or Principles of Natural Law", Vol. 1, Chapter 19, Section 212. This is natural law given to nature from God. Pray on it. Then speak the truth from the heart. Speak truth to power. You have the ability to save the Constitution and the Republic. Please speak up on the true meaning of "natural born Citizen" and educate the People on the difference between born Citizen, naturalized Citizen, and "natural born Citizen."

I am a Son of the American Revolution. I served my country in the military for 33 years on active duty and reserves. I took an oath to support and defend the Constitution, not to defend a President or a man.

Please read this book and then speak out about it on your shows.

  1. Re: Vattel.

Vattel was a Swiss monarchist who never recommended elections and never recommended that the leaders of a country be citizens, much less citizens with two citizen parents. Vattel gives several examples of countries picking their sovereigns from the nobility of other countries, and he never says that this is a bad thing.

Yes, Vattel was popular for some things among the Revolutionary and Constitutional leaders. But those were mainly international issues, and the election of a president is a domestic matter. And some things Vattel recommended the framers of the Constitution did not follow, such as his advice that every country should establish a state religion.

A more popular book than Vattel's was Blackstone's Commentaries, and in it Blackstone repeatedly defines Natural Born as simply "born in the country."

    And that definition still applies.

Yale Law Review wrote: "It is well settled that “native-born” citizens, those born in the United States, qualify as natural born. "

And Black's Law Dictionary wrote: "“Natural born citizen. Persons who are born within the jurisdiction of a national government, i.e. in its territorial limits, or those born of citizens temporarily residing abroad.” — Black’s Law Dictionary, Sixth Edition
(Note that to be Natural Born requires either birth in the country or birth abroad to citizens of the country, but it does not require birth to two citizens.)

The Wall Street Journal commented: "Some birthers imagine that there is a difference between being a “citizen by birth” or a “native citizen” on the one hand and a “natural born” citizen on the other. “Eccentric” is too kind a word for this notion, which is either daft or dishonest. All three terms are identical in meaning."

  2. Great letter and thanks for posting it. Everyone should read it to find out what makes Glenn Beck "tick".

To find out more about what makes Barack Obama "tick" watch the two videos below which start slowly and build up with a wealth of information. Especially apt is the quote in the second video by a Senator about someone who sounds suspiciously like BHO - of course the Senator was a Roman in 42 BC but if the shoe fits ... Three Little Words Merry Christmas OmeriKa!!

  3. My answer and press release to Glenn Beck's closed minded rant on his TV show on the 27th.

    For Immediate Release - 29 January 2010

    Were Placed in 1961.

    To: Glenn Beck

Re. My Open Letter to Glenn Beck

Re. Glenn Beck's response/rant on the air to people writing to him.

    Dear Mr. Beck:

Those newspaper classified ad insertions announcing the birth of Obama as having
occurred in Hawaii legally prove nothing! GIGO! Garbage in, Garbage out for a
database system. False registration in, false announcement out announcing a birth in Hawaii
    in the local newspapers.

The Hawaiian Health Department placed those insertions in the newspaper
automatically on the birth registration of all children whether the registration
documents filed were true or false. Listen to how easy it was to falsely
register a child as being born in Hawaii in 1961 with a simple mail-in form by
only one relative with no witnesses required, which in Obama's case was likely
done by his maternal grandmother to get her foreign born grandson U.S. citizenship.

Glenn, the issue and question to ask is NOT whether Obama is a U.S. Citizen but
ask whether he is legally a "natural born Citizen" to Article II constitutional
standards for eligibility to serve as the President and Commander in Chief of
    our military.

How can a person born as a British Subject be considered to be a "natural born
Citizen" of the USA and eligible to serve as the President and Commander in
    Chief of our military?

Another question, "Do you believe that someone born with foreign citizenship,
can and should be considered a Natural Born Citizen of the U.S.?" Obama was
    born with foreign citizenship.

Read Vattel's, "The Law of Nations or Principles of Natural Law", Vol.1, Chapter
19, Section 212, which defines what a "natural born Citizen" of a nation is.
Vattel clearly defines what the terms "Citizen" means and "natural born Citizen"
mean. And they are not the identically the same. Then look at the facts of
Obama's birth to a foreign British Subject, his father. Obama's father was not
even an immigrant to the USA. His son Obama II can never be considered to be a
"natural born Citizen" of the USA to constitutional standards.

Obama is not eligible under Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 of the U.S.
Constitution to serve as the President and Commander in Chief of our military.
He is a national security risk and a danger to our country! Obama is a Usurper
in the Oval Office and must be constitutionally removed before he further
damages the country and our Constitution and our protected rights thereunder.

I suggest you research the constitutional meaning of "natural born Citizen" to
constitutional standards and learn the true meaning of that term per the intent
and meaning of the founders of our great nation before you further dig a hole
for yourself on this issue before the American people.
