NEW YORK – A top Democrat, apparently operating with the full approval and cooperation of the president, has been directing a team of up to 100 who are paid to publish disinformation on a wide variety of websites to discredit "birthers," according to anti-Obama researchers.

The radical supporters of the president, known as Obama robots, or "OBOTs" for short, have confirmed their White House-appointed ring leader is Democratic Party operative James A. Johnson, the former chairman of Fannie Mae.

Initially, the OBOTs attempted to mask their Internet identities by posting under usernames with avatars that suggest their personalities. But due largely to the efforts of anti-Obama researchers, including "birthers" vilified by the OBOTs, the true identities of key OBOT operatives have been revealed.

Obot SMRSTRAUSS' Links Are Being Scrubbed From Google

Recently I visited the website of attorney Mario Apuzzo, legal council for Charles Kerchner, and noticed that SMRSTRAUSS had posted a comment to an article.  Apparently, this Obot couldn't resist plying his trade once again, but Apuzzo's readers are at least aware of who he is and resoundingly rejected his remarks.

During the presidential election, and for a very long time afterwards, SMRSTRAUSS did a lot of damage on behalf of Obama.  He, his wife, and probably a host of others using the same name, infiltrated every site that discussed Obama's eligibility issue.  This crew left a trail of disinformation everywhere they posted.  Their mission:  to ridicule all who doubted Obama's eligibility to serve as president, and to confuse the public by misstating the facts.  

If you missed the exploits of SMRSTRAUSS, read my exposé published in March 2010 for the full story, backed up with hard evidence.  On the date that article was published, a search on Google for this Obot's name registered nearly 20,000 hits, which was very impressive activity by a "single" individual!

One would assume that over time the trajectory of hits for SMRSTRAUSS would climb if he/they continued to post comments, or perhaps level off if they stopped, but exactly the opposite has happened!  The trajectory of Google hits for this name has dropped dramatically downward.  Information doesn't just disappear from the internet unless someone physically removes the links.  SMRSTRAUSS must have friends in high places!  But of course, that is the argument I made in the article. 

Evidence for the change in Google hits is displayed below.  Prior to publishing my exposé on SMRSTRAUSS' activity, I made screen captures of the Google results page on a couple of occasions.  On January 29, 2010, Google returned 17,500 links.  A short time later on February 8, 2010, Google had increased the returns to 18,900 links.  Today, there are only 4,640 links!

Perhaps SMRSTRAUSS and friends are trying to clean up the Internet before the 2012 presidential election cycle begins, because the link between SMRSTRAUSS and Obama's disinformation campaign might prove useful to Obama's opponents if their dirty tricks are exposed.

SMRSTRAUSS: The Total Reveal & Their Tangled Web | by EricaThunderpaws

On February 11, 2010, I published Exposé: Obot SMRSTRAUSS Finally Unmasked!  My article revealed the prolific commenting activities of an obot who was (and still is) papering virtually every conservative blog with repetitive disinformation.  He is on a mission to defend Barack Obama’s eligibility to serve as President of the United States against those who argue that Obama isn't qualified because of his dual citizenship with Britain and/or due to unanswered questions about Obama's place of birth.

A simple Google search for comments made by, to, and about smrstrauss today returns around 20,000 hits.  In my first exposé, I did not reveal the full identity of smrstrauss, even though I knew who he was after extensive research.  However, since publishing that exposé, smrstrauss has visited my blog again with more “cognitive infiltration,” likely following the suggestions of Cass Sunstein, who now head's Obama's Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs.  smrstrauss was warned that another post would force my hand, and that warning was ignored on March 12, 2010.  So, are you ready for the reveal?

CALL FOR HELP: Seeking More IP Addresses For SMRSTRAUSS

This is a follow-up to my recent article about obot SMRSTRAUSS.  Since the article was published, two people have supplied me with several new IP addresses used by this person.  I would like to collect as many of these as possible to create a database.  If this person has posted on your blog and you have access to his IP addresses, I would appreciate receiving that information, including the date (or date range) linked to those addresses.  You can submit these to me either in the comment section of this notice or in the comment section of the original article.  Alternatively, you can send them to me privately by using the contact form in the sidebar.

I welcome any information that might add substance to my investigation. If you have facts that might be useful, please feel free to share that information with me. 

Since receiving the latest IP addresses, my instinct tells me there is more to SMRSTRAUSS than meets the eye.

Exposé: Obot SMRSTRAUSS Finally Unmasked!

An individual using the tag smrstrauss has been an extraordinarily busy fellow and an annoying enigma on the internet since late 2008, but now his identity is known. Mr. smrstrauss has contributed countless hours, days, weeks, months, and thousands of comments to defend Barack Obama against everyone who questions the President’s eligibility. Smrstrauss sometimes writes long essay comments, and he often cites case law, so if you didn’t know better, you would be excused for thinking he’s an attorney. I can assure you he is not!

I also need to take this opportunity to backtrack on a supposition I previously made about the identity of this man. Based on the comments of another blogger who claimed to have researched the name smrstrauss, he concluded the person was D.C. Shadow Senator, Paul Strauss, who also happens to be a Democrat Superdelegate. After the in-depth research I have just done on smrstrauss, I now know he is not that person, and retract my comments suggesting otherwise.

Such intense activity by smrstrauss would make sense if Obama is paying him to confuse people about his eligibility to serve as President, but I have no way to confirm this without filing a Freedom of Information request of the administration.

If smrstrauss is not being paid by someone, then his efforts must be a labor of love, and for that President Obama may eventually consider bestowing the Presidential Citizens Medal upon this gentleman for his obsessive/compulsive determination to defend The One, irrespective of the truth.
