Tuesday, I flew up to New York from Florida to appear on a Wednesday 7:15am segment on the Fox News channel's Fox & Friends. Typically, CNN & Fox send a car to drive me to a studio in Orlando. This was the first time I had to fly to New York to be “live” on the set.

Mary booked my hotel in Queens so I would be close to the airport. Fox would send a car to take me to their studio in the morning and back to my hotel afterward.

Remember that old Jack Lemmon and Sandy Dennis movie when his wife accompanied him to New York for a job interview and they became horribly lost? I got horribly lost in Queens trying to get to my hotel. I laughed at myself, after all these years, trying to morph into my old streets of Baltimore “don't-mess-with-me” body language.

It was around 7:30pm and the streets were mobbed with people going in all directions. Seeing me lugging my suitcase and computer bag over my shoulder, one of two urban-attired black guys who were chatting stopped and asked, “Cab?”. Totally frustrated, I said, “Yes”. Insanely, I followed this stranger to a dark parking lot. He had an SUV. He delivered me to my hotel for 10 bucks. I gave him twenty. But, our encounter was divinely inspired. I scheduled him to drive me to the airport the next day after my Fox appearance.

This young black man was smart, a good guy and loaded with potential. We chatted about business, unemployment and other things around the fringes of politics. I never felt lead to tell him, “Obama sucks”.

The young black driver gave me a wonderful compliment. He said he had never driven anyone who talked and made him feel good the way I did. Thus, confirming I was exactly where God wanted me to be, doing what He wanted me to do; encouraging this young man and hopefully assisting in pointing him in the right direction.

When he dropped me off at the airport, I gave him a copy of my CD album, “American Tea Party”. Whenever I go to New York, I will give “my driver” a call.

On Fox & Friends, I was part of a three-person panel discussion hosted by Gretchen Carlson, a very nice lady. The program producer emailed me the day before with a list of topics on the agenda for discussion; none of which were the continuing charges that the Tea Party is racist.

With the NAACP, CBC and black actor Morgan Freeman calling the Tea Party racist, I felt God's number one purpose for having me on national TV was to be a “black voice” defending the great people of our divinely inspired Tea Party movement.

During the break before our final segment, I asked Gretchen if she would give me an opportunity to address the racism charges against the Tea Party. Remarkably and graciously, Gretchen said, “yes”. It was a “God Thing”, thanks to all of your prayers.

I realize we are facing challenging times ahead. Obama will probably raise a billion dollars for his re-election campaign. Still, I believe we, the Tea Party, will overthrow his evil regime come November 2012. How? “If God be for us, who can be against us”.

Like you, I've been horrified by the eruptions of mob violence around the globe this summer. But having spent the last two years researching and writing a book about mobs, I'm also grateful to the ruffians for taking to the streets so soon after my book was released.

Thanks, you dirty animals. I knew you wouldn't let me down.

When I decided to write about mobs, it was a relatively peaceful period. But as long as there is evil in the world, mobs will never be finally defeated. And as long as there are liberals, there will be some people stoking the mobs.

It was only a matter of time, although even I didn't expect it quite this soon.

As I left the store, a blue shirted elderly woman sporting a warm smile said, “Thank you for shopping at Walmart.” For some reason, it struck me, “Wow, all this was started by one man, Sam Walton”.

I caught a bit of the Walmart story while flipping through the channels a few days earlier. Walton's wife said, “We were finally out of debt and living comfortably. But, that was not enough for Sam. He had an idea for a new store”.

A businessman on the TV program said, “I liked Sam. So, when he showed me his new store, I leveled with him. I said it was the worst store I had even seen and could never work. Thank God Sam did not listen to me”.

Sam Walton, following his dream, passion and vision, created a worldwide phenomenon employing two million associates in the U.S.; one man affecting the lives of mega millions. Wow!

Patriots, like so many of you, I am extremely frustrated by the debt ceiling deal. We worked our butts off to get tea party candidates elected and the Republicans still caved. Our country is disappearing and this latest fiasco in DC left me feeling pretty helpless to change anything.

But, that little old lady thanking me for shopping at Walmart, Sam Walton's legacy, reminded me of the power and impact of just one man. I felt inspired.

I am only one man. Despite political betrayals, with all that is within me, I will stay diligent in my efforts to free my beloved country from this vile, tyrannous and evil enemy within known as Barack Hussein Obama in 2012.

History is full of individuals like Sam Walton who changed the world. Patriots, each of us possess more power than we can imagine. Please, please, please do not give up. Stay committed to do your part to take back America.

Like Sam Walton, one committed man or woman can make a world of difference.

Some will say, “Lloyd, if your purpose is to inspire Republicans to stand strong in the debt ceiling debate, why on earth would you choose the battle at the Alamo which the good guys, the Texans, lost?”

The battle at the Alamo is the birthplace of Texas liberty. Approximately 250 Texans died fighting for their freedom against the 1500 man Mexican army. The Texans held the Mexicans at bay for 12 days before being massacred on the 13th day.

What I find so inspiring about the battle is the Texans knew they were going to die. And yet, they knew the time had come to draw a line in the sand taking a stand for freedom.

With Bill O'Reilly leading the charge, pundits and Washington elites advise Republicans to surrender to Obama's irresponsible desire to raise the debt ceiling and raise taxes. These smartest guys in the room say, “Obama has the polls and the media on his side. So, why go down in defeat.”

Well I say, the Republicans must not allow fear, skewed polls and an ill-informed public to prevent them from doing what is best for America. The time has come for Republicans to draw a line in the sand; take a stand by fighting the tyranny of out of control, self serving vote manufacturing and insane government spending.

Thank God we have tea party freshmen who are standing on principle and saying “no” to bankrupting the future of generations.

Here is how deep in the hole we are. Let's suppose congress ceased all spending today and began making payments of 100 million dollars per day on our national debt. It would take us 389 years to pay off our national debt. Can you see how adding to our debt would be insane?

And yet, O'Reilly and company advise the Republicans to compromise to save themselves. Such behavior is not character driven leadership. To the Republicans, I say, “Remember the Alamo! Take a stand for freedom!”

Unlike the Texans, I do not believe the Republicans will be massacred. The informational highway has changed dramatically since 1995 when the liberal media successfully blamed the government shutdown on the Republicans.

While I must admit that “Black Barack” Obama and his gang of media roughnecks are a “might powerful”, there's a tough new lawman in town, Sheriff Tea Party.

Folks are still talkin' about how back in November 2010, Sheriff Tea Party and his posse of bloggers, talk show-ers, social network-ers and rally-ers kicked the Obama gang's butt. They pretty much wreckin' to do it again come November 2012.

And can we please lay to rest the lie that America will default on August 2nd if we do not raise the debt ceiling? This is yet another Obama and his gang of media roughnecks scare tactic.

Patriots, our characterless president and his minions will stop at nothing to further their socialistic agenda and destruction of America as we know it. Can you believe that after the Obama gang's despicable attempt to make the tea party and opposition to Obamacare a racial matter, they are now attempting to make opposition to raising our debt about race?

Black political operatives including Congressional Black Caucus member, Shelia Jackson Lee are accusing the Republicans of saying no to raising the debt ceiling because Obama is black. These people have no shame. They are evil.

Obama's characterless tactics of race baiting, blaming Bush, creating hostility towards achievers and commercials showing Republicans pushing granny over a cliff are challenging obstacles to overcome.

A dear long time black friend, Christian minister and mentor has bought the Obama gang's spin hook, line and sinker. After a enjoyable chat about religious matters, he shifted the conversation to Republicans and the debt ceiling.

Suddenly, he became extremely angry. After vilifying Republicans claiming their sole existence is to make the rich richer on the backs of the poor, he concluded his rant saying, “By not raising the debt ceiling, Republicans are playing Russian roulette with the lives of the poor and seniors. If I were God, I would kill them ALL!”

Wow! I was struck by the depths of his passionate hate for Republicans. My friend is an example of the left's successful hate campaign against achievers and Conservatives.

Still, I am extremely confident we will defeat Obama and his media minions in 2012.

Victory will require every patriot remaining focused and vigilant in their efforts. To my fellow believers in Christ, I would ask that you continue praying for our great country; an extraordinary wonderful experiment founded on Christian principles.

As for the Texans massacred at the Alamo, months later, Texas won it's independence at the battle of San Jacinto; their battle cry, “Remember the Alamo!”

Republicans, please hang tough. America's future rests on your shoulders and backbones.

Attention patriots. Captain Lloyd Marcus of the Tea Party Army reporting on my mission in Hutchinson Kansas. I was the keynote speaker for the Hutchinson Tea Party. Our Kansas patriots are strong, committed and warm salt of the earth great people.

It was interesting to learn Kansas grows wheat for the world. The Kansas wheat field's “amber waves of grain” is famed in the song “America The Beautiful”. Kansas is also famous for its salt mines. Time did not permit us to take the 650 foot underground tour of the mines.

My wife Mary accompanied me on my trip to Kansas. It was Mary's first time flying since the installation of the federally mandated full body scanners at airports.

Nicknamed “Mr Tea Party”, I fly a lot, speaking and performing at events and rallies across America. Thus, I have pretty much resigned myself to endure a certain level of humiliation; removing my shoes and any other article of clothing they request; standing arms out stretched and legs apart for their wand scan.

I thought once you pass through security, you are safe from further intrusion. However, on one occasion at my gate just before getting on the plane, I was stopped for a random “spot search”.

Rather than getting angry and making myself crazy over something out of my control, I have developed a, “whatever” attitude. If they instruct me to drop my pants, fine, “Whatever!” OK, I am exaggerating a bit, but you get my point.

My Irish part-Cherokee and feisty wife, is not so passive. She is furious! Mary finds the idea of strangers viewing her naked or patting her down an extremely humiliating violation of her rights as an American.

We flew out of Orlando. Fortunately, we were not selected for full body scan or pat down. We simply had to pass through the metal detector. Walking to our gate, Mary was an emotional wreck. She said her legs felt wobbly and she wanted to cry. Heartbroken, Mary said, “I can not believe Americans are putting up with this”.

The following message comes from the Dallas Tea Party organizers, and is an appeal to young people everywhere to rediscover America's exceptionalism, and to seek their involvement in our future.  To that end the DTP has created a special group on Facebook.  If you will share this message with your young friends and family, who knows what good might come from their participation.

Whenever I have a serious discussion about the troubling circumstances that this country is facing, inevitably the conversation comes back to Taking Back America's Youth. We all know that our public education system isn't teaching our children about American Exceptionalism. We know that the Entertainment World, the Media, and Higher Learning does everything to tear down the very foundations that our Country was built on.
