"Facts Are Stubborn Things" - America Needs To Get A Grip

Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence. – John Adams

On Freedom of Religion and First Amendment, an Essay of Common Sense

A Madison County school board voted unanimously to alter a monument at the entrance of a Georgia high school football stadium in order to remove biblical scripture. The monument was erected in August and two different groups sent letters to the school stating that the monument violates the separation of church and state, demanding it be removed. There were two references to scriptures:
Romans 8:31: If God be for us, who can be against us?
Philippians 4:13: I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.

Arizona De-Balkanizes Public Education: Out With Ethnic Studies

The Arizona legislature is on a roll.  First, requiring that presidential candidates submit proof of eligibility in order to get their names on the ballot; second, enforcing the immigration laws left unattended by the Feds; and now, making it illegal for public schools to teach ethnic studies.  You may wonder why.  With respect to the latest bill, Arizonans have justifiably come to the conclusion that by teaching narrowly focused ethnic studies, educators are balkanizing the American people. Finally, at least one state plans to loosen the shackles of literal segregation by focusing on shared values rather than our differences. And to that I say, Hallelujah!

Arizona Legislature Passes Bill Banning Ethnic Studies Programs

After making national headlines for a new law on illegal immigrants, the Arizona Legislature passed a bill Thursday that would ban ethnic studies programs in the state that critics say currently advocate separatism and racial preferences.

The bill, which passed 32-26 in the state House, had been approved by the Senate a day earlier. It now goes to Gov. Jan Brewer for her signature.

The new bill would make it illegal for a school district to teach any courses that promote the overthrow of the U.S. government, promote resentment of a particular race or class of people, are designed primarily for students of a particular ethnic group or "advocate ethnic solidarity instead of the treatment of pupils as individuals."

The bill stipulates that courses can continue to be taught for Native American pupils in compliance with federal law and does not prohibit English as a second language classes. It also does not prohibit the teaching of the Holocaust or other cases of genocide.

Schools that fail to abide by the law would have state funds withheld.

"We The People" - Nos Populus Productions | by Keith Allen Lehman

A YouTube video [video at end of article] link has been passed to me via email from Helen M. Tills, a Patriot citizen who lived through the hard times of Victory Gardens, gasoline shortage, fear of losing freedom, watched News Reels about those fighting in Europe and the Pacific Theater to keep tyranny and oppression away from America’s shores after the initial attack upon American armed forces and civilians on the island of Hawaii. She also has seen how generation after generation have not appreciated what a great country they have and voters vote for popularity and faddish reasons rather than choosing candidates because of their character and their desire to make a difference – For the People.

Kentucky Resolutions of 1798 Still Apply | by Keith Allen Lehman

Before I begin this article, I would like to direct your attention to some great collage photo artwork by Erica Thunderpaws in a recent short article that challenges Tea Patriots to come up with something that the media cannot ignore (and is peaceful dissension) and the Progressives can understand, as well as make the Obama Nation administration and his associates in Congress to understand what part of the word NO is not understood. Of course, the main issue being directed with this artwork, a picture worth a thousand words, is the Obama healthcare that is being forced down the throats of US citizens whose majority says NO! Now to the gist of what I intended to write ...

Alternate, Efficient Energy: Isn't That What We Are Striving For? | by Keith Allen Lehman

Obama and associates push for alternate energy – cleaner and more efficient. So Americans, as resourceful as they have been since they, as Europeans, first stepped ashore on the land that came to be known as North America; Americans today are looking for economical and efficient means to provide energy, in this case, electricity. Wind and solar power has been around long enough, one would think, to fit that bill.

So, the owner of the Feathered Star Bed and Breakfast, a homey looking building whose proprietor has posted a sign that welcomes pets, unique among most inns and motels, decided to turn to wind power and install a wind turbine. The establishment was built in 1999 and opened its doors for business in 2000.

Letter to Rep. Gary Bies, State of Wisconsin | by Keith Allen Lehman

My letter to my state representative referencing my recent article:
                                          February 4th, 2010
TO:
Representative Gary Bies, State of Wisconsin

IN TURN:
Honorable Representative Steven Kagen, United States Congress
Honorable Senator Russ Feingold, United States Congress

FROM:
Keith Allen Lehman, US Army RET, US Citizen

SUBJECT: Second Amendment and State Laws

Mr. Bies:

I present to you an argument referencing a web link concerning the Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States.

The United States is made up of sovereign states that belong to a union of states; however ALL states must comply with the Constitution of the United States and its amendments, of which the first ten have come to be called the Bill of Rights.

The state of Wisconsin does not comply with the Constitution of the United States, as some of the other fifty states by prohibiting law-abiding citizens of sound mind not to carry a concealed or openly carried loaded firearm for purposes of defense of oneself, one's family, property or the general welfare of the public. As the article that I authored at the web link clearly demonstrates, individuals have the right to keep and bear arms and that right shall not be infringed.

All states of the Union must comply and the US Supreme Court and state courts and legislators are not performing their duty on behalf of the citizens of the state of Wisconsin and the United States when they counter against the US Constitution. Governor Doyle and members of the Wisconsin legislator have violated those rights - and it is time past due that they rectify the travesty they have legislated upon the Second Amendment.

The Second Amendment is concise and quite clear on the matter, and it is time for elected officials of the government to listen to the will of the people. The majority has stated they wish the right and choice to carry firearms if they choose to do so or deem fit and any elected official that goes against the Second Amendment or any rights in the Constitution is not fit to fill the position they hold in the People's government.

Thank you for your time, and hope you will fervently address this matter to those in government of the great state of Wisconsin. Your past record has shown that you are a man of character and respect constitutional law and the people for which you represent, so I ask that you enact whatever it takes to address this issue.

A copy of this electrically transmitted letter has been sent to US Representative Kagen and US Senator Feingold so they may also take action to ensure that the Constitution of the United States is honored by ALL states of the Union. This letter will also be posted to the American Reformation Movement (ARM) and Jefferson’s Rebels websites for fellow citizens of Wisconsin, as well as citizens who live in states that do not honor the Bill of Rights and the US Constitution.

Respectfully,

Keith Allen Lehman

Second Amendment is Quite Clear, at least to the Literate | by Keith Allen Lehman

Let’s talk about the Second Amendment, and at the same time let’s settle an argument once and for all, an argument that began as early as the 1800s. It is a discussion that often is in heated argument with radical opinions on both sides; however, opinions do not change the rule of law and those set of laws are in the Constitution and its amendments. The basic Constitution of the United States was written to provide the ground rules of government and addresses its limitation as well as its extent of power.
A recent wire release from the Associated Press entitled High Court Looks at Reach of Second Amendment, March 2nd 2010 demonstrated that people are still arguing over an amendment that is concise and easy to understand; and yet fail to understand that all states that are part of the union of the United States must comply. State governments are allowed to add to the Constitution but not pass any laws or articles within their state constitution that counters those they agreed to when becoming a state.

US Sociocrats Continue Their Marxist Policies

The recent Supreme Court ruling that lifted a ban on unlimited corporate spending in federal elections has not deterred Democrats for this bill. Co-authored by Senator John McCain (RINO) it was known as the Bipartisan Campaign Finance Reform Act that included prevention form citizens to exercise their First Amendment in a 30- to 60-day period, except for designated media entities.
On February 2nd 2010, Rep. Donna Edwards, Maryland and Rep. John Conyers, Michigan, introduced a constitutional amendment, H.J. Res. 74 that present drastic measures concerning the regulation of expenditure of funds by corporations engaging in political speech; despite the long record of unions and corporations donating to the Democratic Party of the United States.

Return of the Rule of Law

Rule of law, according to a Wikipedia entry is …
…also called supremacy of law, means that the law is above everyone and it applies to everyone. Whether governor or governed, rulers or ruled, no one is above the law, no one is exempted from the law, and no one can grant exemption to the application of the law. … The predominant view is that the concept of "rule of law" per se says nothing about the "justness" of the laws themselves, but simply how the legal system operates.[6][7]  As a consequence of this, a very undemocratic nation or one without respect for human rights can exist with a "rule of law"—a situation that may be occurring in several modern dictatorships. The "rule of law" or Rechtsstaat may be a necessary condition for democracy, but it is not a sufficient condition.[8]  … Aristotle endorsed the rule of law, writing that "law should govern", and those in power should be "servants of the laws."[10]  … In Islamic jurisprudence rule of law was formulated before the twelfth century, so that no official could claim to be above the law, not even the caliph.[12] However, this was not a reference to secular law, but to Islamic religious law in the form of Sharia law. In 1215 AD, a similar development occurred in England: King John placed himself and England's future sovereigns and magistrates at least partially within the rule of law, by signing Magna Carta.[13]  In 1776, the notion that no one is above the law was popular during the founding of the United States, for example Thomas Paine wrote in his pamphlet Common Sense "that in America, the law is king. For as in absolute governments the King is law, so in free countries the law ought to be king; and there ought to be no other."[15] In 1780, John Adams enshrined this principle in the Massachusetts Constitution by seeking to establish "a government of laws and not of men."[16]
