Baltimore Violence Continues and President Obama Speaks Out

Briefly mentioning the despicable rioting and looting in Baltimore, President Obama went on during his Rose Garden press conference with the Japanese Prime Minister, to term what is happening in Baltimore is a crisis, not because of looting and burning, but because of “racially motivated police brutality” - this time he says such acts is inexcusable and criminal. He continued by describing the problem in 'Black' communities and how wrong the whole affair is. President Obama condemned the “criminals and thugs” who were part of rioting and looting, adding: “there's no excuse for the kind of violence that we saw”.

It Could Not Happen Here ...?

Jihad Watch by Robert Spencer just posted a news headline coming from jolly old England, a nation member of the United Kingdom, and wrote:
Lutfur Rahman may be looking for work now; I suggest he become the poster child for what is wrong with contemporary Britain. ...because those who should be stopping them are desperately afraid of charges of “racism” and “Islamophobia.” They’re more afraid of those charges than they are of the destruction and damage that these Islamic supremacists leave in their wake. It is good that Lutfur Rahman has been barred from standing for office again, but unless there is a massive change in the British political culture, and this cowardice and appeasement set aside, there will be many more Lutfur Rahmans.

Ben Affleck Demonstrates Hollywood Hypocrisy

Ben Affleck made the news involved in a scandal concerning the progressives who operate the so-called Public Broadcasting System (PBS). The gist of it is that Affleck pressured to not release that his ancestors were slave owners while involved in a PBS documentary. Progressives, some erroneously called them "liberals", like to water down and change words to suit their political and cultural propaganda. In this example, censorship is replaced with flowery words/phrase: "collective collaborative process" - key word for socialism is "collective".
The problem with PBS and the NPR (National Public Radio) is that it is big government propaganda and narrow minded - subsidized by your tax money. The question why has never been answered and Congress has never sent its socialist agenda into the private sector where the PBS/NPR would solely rely upon funding and paid advertisement.

Gyrocopter, Campaign Finance, and Lost Email

As you already know because the media has gone into a frenzy over a Florida postal worker flying his gyrocopter to the Capital no-fly zone to deliver two-page letters to all members of Congress personally there is great concern about Capital Hill security. It was all about dissatisfaction of Doug Hughes over the campaign financing issue. The man did not mean any harm, but it was a stupid action. He could have easily had just mail them like everyone else. Mr. Hughes made a video to let people know ahead of time and informed the Tampa Bay Times what he was going to do. The newspaper staff and editors did not warn the Capitol grounds authorities.

Chicago: Taking the Same Road As Detroit

Will Chicago be heading toward what happened to Detroit?
Street in Detroit or Chicago?
Examining cities that have been controlled by Democrats for decades, it most likely will happen.
As Margaret Thatcher stated:
The trouble with Socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money.
The answer to the photo question is: Chicago street.

Headlines: Hillary Erased Private Email Server

Sorry, don't have emails
Will justice finally be served? Attorney for Hillary Clinton stated she erased her private email from her server. She not only used private email for government business, but rarely used the government server. Hillary has a long history of 'losing' important documents, even as First Lady.
Congressman Trey Gowdy, who is chairman of the House committee investigating the 2012 terrorist attacks in Benghazi, confirmed that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton won’t comply — of course — with the committee’s subpoena to turn over her server to an independent third party for review.

Scott Walker: A Viable Presidential Candidate

Wisconsin now is the 25th state that has right-to-work laws, defying the grip upon the economy and employment in the United States. Unconstitutionally, federal government workers have unions, where entities decide about wages and benefits instead of Congress.
It is because of Governor Scott Walker who has relieved some of the tax burden of the raised taxes of his Democrat predecessor, Jim Doyle, who raised taxes to the amount of $1 billion soon after he had taken office in a reelection that should never have happened. His (Doyle) legacy is one word: corruption.

The Tolerance of the Intolerant: Tolerance or Submission?

Christianity has evolved in terms of its church doctrine and Christian theocracy is extinct. Witches no longer are burned at the stake nor does the Inquisition no longer exist. The general concept is to follow the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth, who even stopped a stoning session against a woman accused of adultery. He did this not just on a humanitarian level, but to emphasize that it is better to change a person other ways than punishment by being stoned to death. He was more concerned about spirtuality than materialism.

Wisconsin in the News

Our governor here in Wisconsin, Scott Walker, is a potential candidate for the primary campaign for the presidential election of 2016. The Progressives [Democrats] must view him as a threat because their media folks are trying to find any dirt they can discover about him or make up from misinformation, gleaned from facts. The only thing they can come up with was that he did not complete college. His record as Governor of Wisconsin speaks for itself and denounces such negative media tripe and during the CPAC 2015 conference, he shows his potential and grasp of what must be done for true reformation and get our nation back on track towards what the Founders had in mind …

Judge Jeanine Pirro: After Six Years of Mystified by Obama's Behavior, She Finally has BH Obama Figured Out

The time to enact is yesterday. Coalition forces against Islamic Jihadists must no longer tolerate an intolerant facet of Islam; and do so before there are no Islamic "moderates" left. Egypt (not the Muslim Brotherhood) and Turkey for example, are against extremism and should be encouraged to be part of that coalition - along with Yemen, Oman, et cetera.

Budget Plan Comparison: Scott Walker versus Barack H. Obama

Governor Scott Walker (R-WI)
Governor Scott Walker, Wisconsin has had a success story because he did what he promised the voters who put him in office, replacing a tax-and-spend Democrat governor who signed a record $1 billion tax bill after promising not to raise taxes. He also took on the parasitic unions and won.
That is why, after winning a recall election funded by Democrats and trade union money, voters reelected him in 2014. After leaving Marquette University he secured a job at IBM and then with the American Red Cross before entering the world of politics in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Like President Obama, Governor Walker is delivering his 2015 budget, which in the past included property and income tax cuts, unlike President Obama. He looks to avoid a fuel tax increase that will include fund cuts for state universities over two years and using federal grants to keep state roads in good condition. Those actions improved a failed state economy through tax cuts and encouraging business investments.

In the News: January 28th 2015 - Bergdahl To Face Desertion Trial

Katie PavlichUS Army Sgt. Bowel Bergdahl, who was traded by the Obama administration for five high risk Taliban leaders last year, will be charged with desertion. Retired Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer broke the news on O'Reilly Factor.
"The Army has come to its conclusion, and Bowe Bergdahl, Sgt. Bergdahl, will be charged with desertion. I have been told and confirmed by a few other sources that his attorney was given what we call a charge sheet. A charge sheet is essentially the results of the investigation listing out the articles of the Uniformed Code of Military Justice that have been violated. The key violation is desertion," Shaffer said. "The decision has been made."

Senate Judiciary Committee: Confirmation of Loretta Lynch and GOP Majority Test

President Obama backed down from his SOTU plan to tax 529 college investment funds; but he and his administration is still working on a back-door approach to tax the Internet. In effect, the government already taxes the Internet through the communication companies, just like the government does with the telephone. But that is not good enough for the tax-and-spend politicians who refuse to budget as evident with the skyrocket national debt. Apparently either no one noticed or did not bother to look or did not care when they re-elected Obama in 2014. Oddly, Republicans have lost re-election on far less than what Obama and company have been doing. The myriad of scandals and the horror of the Benghazi attack outcome should have sent Obama out to pasture – but they didn't. It appears the majority of voters were more afraid of Mitt Romney as president. Not that I wanted him as a running nominee in the primary elections, not because of his character, but his political track record. His state health care program mirrored the Obamacare program now in place, which the US Supreme Court should have stopped from the beginning, but still would have been an improvement over the administration at present. Now the Republican legislators are faced with attempts to put Obamacare in the garbage bin where it belongs. Even if they pass such legislation in Congress, they will have to get enough support to override the assured veto via President Obama.

Speaker John Boehner: Complains About Tea Party on 60 Minutes

Beer Buddies
House Speaker, John Boehner, in a recent interview on 60 Minutes clearly represents those serving in Congress look at daily business in Washington, DC as a game of strategy andtactics; such things should be relegated to campaigning for election and re-election. Our nation was not founded with a government designed to play political games, but to protect and obey the US Constitution and its amendments; what every congressional member and President of the United States swears an oath to. During that time on 60 Minutes, Boehner spent a great deal of time complaining about the Tea Party. It is further proof and why so many (not enough) Republicans in Congress want him ousted as Speaker of the House – he's a certified RINO.

HR 1787: Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act

Star Parker is a person who knows from experience that the political progressives have it all wrong; and it was through her personal experience that she realized what makes good government, that which the Founders created in a constitutional republic, and what does not work. She is a nationally syndicated columnist who told pro-life activists at ProLifeCon at the Family Research Council headquarters that she had used abortion as birth control and had four abortions, because she “got caught up in the lies of the left”. CNS News has a video of part of her speech. She leads the non-profit organization CURE and author of the Book, Plantation.

Loretta Brown reported that a crowd of pro-life millennials gathered outside of Rep. Renee Ellmers (R-NC) office to express their anger with her for delaying and attempting to dilute the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act. The White House has already indicated it would not sign HR 1787 if it passes Congress.

Essay of Random Thinking: It's a Mad World, Indeed

Rebirth of My Lighthouse Journal Theme Quote
If I was to describe the American society and world events today to a total stranger from another planet, I immediately would say with the thought of a particular zany 1963 comedy film …

Racial Divide: Injustice By Racial Vigilantes

Associated Press: More demonstrations in Berkeley, Missouri concerning the death of an 18-year-old black who pointed a gun at a police officer. The protests were more peaceful than the previous night, when a crowd gathered at a gas station, throwing rocks and bricks. The black community police force is mostly white.
Maybe that should change and one can see if the same civil unrest will occur when a black police officer defends himself. The problem of violence is not within the law enforcement community, but in the community for which they are sworn to serve and protect.

In the News: December 2014

In recent news about the Democrat-led onslaught against the CIA for alleged practice of torturing terrorists, the Obama White House press conference was asked why it was acceptable to kill people with drones, but “slapping Khalid Sheikh Mohammed is bad”. The Senate report had suggested that the CIA had lied about their “harsh CIA interrogations”. The Senate investigation has been ongoing for five years. The CIA has tried to discredit the Senate investigation. The interrogation procedures were enacted after the 9-11 attacks. In the Senate report it states that the CIA misled Congress. Meanwhile, Obama continues using drones with the blessing of Congress.

The House of Representatives barely approved the $1.1 trillion government spending bill in a 219-206 vote. In a surprising public statement that rebukes President Obama, Nancy Pelosi stated she was “enormously disappointed” that the president had decided to embrace legislation that she described as an attempt at blackmail by Republicans. After protest from some senators led by Ted Cruz, the Senate went ahead and passed Obama's $1 trillion spending bill. Will the US government now make that amount (or more) an annual expense? It passed with a 56-40 vote after overruling an objection by Senator Ted Cruz of Texas. Ted Cruz and other senators pushed for an amendment to cut off funds to the Department of Homeland Security for carrying out President Obama's unconstitutional executive action concerning deportations. Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid, blocked the measure. Spearheading the investigation is Intelligence Committee chairwoman, Senator Dianne Feinstein, infamous for her attempt to pass draconian firearm ban legislation.

Senator Tom Coburn Gives Farewell Speech

Senator Tom Coburn (R-OK) has stepped down two years before the end of his term due to prostrate cancer. The senator gained a reputation for standing for principles in legislative matters and was nicknamed “Dr. No”. In his closing remarks in his farewell speech, he warned that he will seek to block or slow debate on several pieces of legislation before the closing of this year's congress. He also implied that Majority Leader Harry M. Reid (D-Nevada) led the Senate like a tyrant. The following video is a segment of his emotional farewell speech where he read the oath of office that few in Congress have adhered to, he pleaded for the Senate to return to the principles set forth by the architects of the US Constitution …
