I, Tina Griego, journalist for the Denver Rocky Mountain News wrote a column titled, "Mexican Visitor's Lament."[2005]
I interviewed Mexican journalist Evangelina Hernandez while visiting Denver last week. Hernandez said, "Illegal aliens pay rent, buy groceries, buy clothes. What happens to your country's economy if 20 million people go away?"
Hmmm, I thought, what would happen?
So I did my due diligence, buried my nose as a reporter into the FACTS I found below.
It's a good question... it deserves an honest answer. Over 80% of Americans demand secured borders and illegal migration stopped. But what would happen if all 20 million or more vacated America? The answers I found may surprise you!

The flow of illegal immigrants crossing the Texas border is close to the same level as last year and last summer there was an historical amount of children crossing the border traveling from Central American countries courtesy of freight trains of Mexico. How long has the federal government blamed the 'Baby Boom' generation for the looming 'bankruptcy' of Social Security?  They, like everyone since its inception have paid into the system all their working lives with hopes of surviving old age.

That means that those that have been illegally awarded amnesty will be collecting Social Security from a fund that the feds have been complaining is short of required balance. A Drastic Change Required in US Foreign Affairs and Immigration Policies

All those young illegal immigrants who have been protected with the Obama unconstitutional amnesty are lining up for Arizona driver's licenses tomorrow. As CNS News reported:

A preliminary injunction issued Dec. 18 by U.S. District Judge David Campbell bars the state from enforcing Gov. Jan Brewer's policy of denying the licenses to about 20,000 immigrants.

Now Obama is ignoring state government rights that is clearly stated in the US Constitution and telling governors of states they have no control over vehicle licensing in their state.

If they were all to leave, it would leave an extra $10.2 billion to spend on overloaded school systems, bankrupt hospitals and overrun prisons. Illegal Immigration:  Lawmakers in 14 states are joining to restore the intended meaning of the 14th Amendment:  that being a U.S. citizen requires more than just your mother sneaking past the Border Patrol.

The architect of Arizona's immigration law, SB2070, announced Tuesday a new crusade to correct what he perceives as an unfortunate misinterpretation of the 14th Amendment that allows children of illegal immigrant parents to be considered U.S. citizens if they're born on U.S. soil.

Rep. John Bingham of Ohio, regarded as the father of the 14th Amendment, said it meant that "every human being born within the jurisdiction of the United States of parents not owing allegiance to any foreign sovereignty is, in the language of your constitution itself. A natural born citizen . . ."

Speech Laws: The Next Abomination?

If you think this kind of trial can't happen in the US, remember that Congress has already passed a hate-crimes law.  If the Dems continue to hold power in the three branches of government, it won't be long before they will take a page out of the Dutch's book, and write hate-speech laws.  Politically-correct Dems don't really believe in the First Amendment, so this kind of scenario is right up their alley.  The Constitution is an impediment to the enlightened views of left-wing "progressives," but that has seldom stopped them from writing abominable laws.

Freedom:  What do the trial of a Dutch politician, multiple terrorist threats in Western Europe and a speech by a Mideast tyrant have in common?  Plenty, if you're a citizen of the West.  It's all part of a game of intimidation.

On Monday, the trial for Dutch anti-immigration politician Geert Wilders began.  His odious crime?  Speaking out against the Netherlands' open-border immigration policies, which have been blamed for letting hundreds of thousands of Muslims move in without assimilating into Dutch society.

The Dutch government charges Wilders with the Orwellian crime of "hate speech."  For this, Wilders could spend a year in prison.

Who Are They Real Racists?

The Feds are in the middle of a lawsuit against Arizona and its governor, Jan Brewer, while Arizona is only doing what the federal government refuses to do – enforce illegal immigration laws. Americans citizens (of all ethnic backgrounds, including Latino legal immigrant citizens) who are against border jumpers who bring in illegal drugs and defy American laws are called racists (they are not against legal immigration) there are brainwashed Mexican fascists called the Brown Berets and other subversive organizations who claim that Americans are Europeans and must go back to Europe so Mexicans can take over what is rightfully theirs. Mexicans are not Mayans nor are they Aztec, but the result of Spanish conquest of the Americas, specifically Central and South America. Some still speak the original tongue, but all speak Spanish, which comes from Europe and spoken in a nation called Spain. They claim Americans are Nazi and racists for wanting to control immigration for national security, ensuring there is employment and for those who wish to assimilate as an American citizen and not some Mexican conquistador. They claim that all the Americas belong to them. Mexico gained independence from Spain and Spain once had settlements and outposts in California and Florida – but Spain is not complaining because they abandoned those settlements long before Mexico gained independence from Spain. In historical recognition, many place names and even towns and cities have Spanish names in honor of the first Europeans who settled in the Americas – Los Angeles, New Mexico, California, et cetera.

Federal Government Versus State Government

New York Mayor, Michael Bloomberg, demonstrated his moronic ideology by stating that America is giving short shrift to immigration and blaming economic problems upon the fact that the welcome mat is not place on the US southern border under an open border concept; mixing as progressives do on issues between legal immigrants to illegal aliens. The progressive mayor stated that the United States is pushing people that other countries want away from our shores. [I]

One day after President Obama urged Congress to pass an immigration reform bill, Bloomberg stated that policymakers should give a green card to anybody around the world who wants to come here … and … a way must be found to give citizenship to the roughly 11 million people who are in the United States.

I Want My Bailout

UPS, Fannie Mae, GMC ... bailouts ... but congressional members think they should not extend the unemployment compensation (paid for by American businesses across the nation) for the regular folks who are having difficulty finding employment with all those jobs President Obama and his czars keep telling us is appearing.

Arizona Law, Obama Nation and Illegal Aliens

Feds have declared judicial war on Arizona because of recent state legislation that allows state law enforcement to handle what the federal government refuses to do … the national government makes law it does not enforce. ACLU has its hand in it, an organization that is concerned about the rights of non-citizen law breakers; all despite the fact that 64% of American citizen voters favor the Arizona law. [I] In addition, other states are considering following suit to solve the illegal alien problem that is working against American citizens in seeking employment during a severe recession. Those states considering it are: North Carolina, Maryland, Colorado, Missouri, Ohio and other states.

Michigan state Tea Party protesters want Arizona law to be adopted there.

It is about time that the federal government follow the rule of law and the  US Constitution and its amendments in accordance to Founders reason for writing them and explanations found in the Federalist Papers.

The U.S. Treasury and Labor Departments will ask for public comment as soon as next week on ways to promote the conversion of 401(k) savings and Individual Retirement Accounts into annuities or other steady payment streams, according to Assistant Labor Secretary Phyllis C. Borzi and Deputy Assistant Treasury Secretary Mark Iwry, who are spearheading the effort.

The Obama administration, Congressional activists, Ford Foundation, and Rockefeller Foundation are engineering a new regulation and incentive for more taxes. It is amazing how much Obama has learned from studying FDR’s New Deal philosophy and Saul Alinsky – an ideology based on Marxism. The scheme is over $2 trillion dollars in bonds to be sold this year and foreign buying is on the wane. China says it has enough ‘invested’ in America. The goal is to force Americans to convert their 401(k)s, like ObamaCare, and IRAs into government-controlled retirement accounts.

The government hasn’t solved the problem with Social Security, which would be helped if it was turned over to the private sector over a period of time. Now the government wants to add yet another form of retirement directed and controlled by government. Looking at the record of Social Security and Medicare – who do they think they are kidding?
